Actually, you could say it was depicting the leave-taking of the elves taking the ships at the grey havens. The surf breaking in the background lends itself to that interpretation to me
I'm glad I'm not a judge at these events, I could not have picked a winner. I will say it's great seeing NME in 2019, he seems so much more relaxed and absolutely killed it. In prior years, to me, it looked like he got stressed and then made mistakes. Awesome battle and awesome reaction and analysis.
I’ve been watching your videos for a week now and as a fellow Dave, beatbox lover, general music appreciator, and fighting game enthusiast you are quickly becoming my favorite reactor!
I agree with you. It is way better when reacting to the battles on their own. Appreciate that you reacted to this btw 😁 don’t forget to watch the other battles with Rythmind
NME with the dirtiest Chaos Pad drop i ever heard lol. and Who wouldve thought that Rhythmind was one of the greatest loopers lmao (and with one device too!). Soooo clean its insane, I've always been a fan of his solo stuff and BERYWAM obv (Berywam is a beatbox crew that you should totally check out btw 😉 mb14 used to be apart of it). So i have a bit of a suggestion: so this is the Finals between NME and Rhythmind, i think it'd be cool to see you follow from the beginning, round by round, battle by battle. Is probably late for others idk but for rhythmind I think you can still do that (apart from this battle obv lol) so basically all the quarterfinals, then semifinals, etc. There's also a small final. Also if that's too much then just following Rhythmind through each round, since he's the champ.
Great post. I agree too that I wish Swiss Beatbox would follow loopers through battles. You can figure it out usually but it'd be great to have it together and would probably equal some nice clicks. NME is amazing but he was overmatched.
you starting to be my favorite reacter @WHAT IT DO , I think of all videos ive watched I could agree with 100% what you say, I like your hype, and you nail some things that other reacters don't good job
Bro, your channel is EASILY the best beatbox reaction channel I've seen. I love all your analyses after each round and it's obvious you know what you are talking about when it comes to music. Keep it up!
Hey man, love your vids. This doesn’t mean much to you, but you remind me of my best friend from college so much. We lived together for a long time, but recently we’ve grown apart (nothing bad just time.) it makes me happy to have that same kinda presence again. Keep doing you.
Rythminds 1st round had so many small details, he used the standard beat from the rc505 in drop 1 and while he dropped he recorded 6 drums for drop 2, and overall he is just awesome. Inkie vs Nme is a must watch (as any gbb 2019 round tbh). If you dont understand the Loopstation i think most people find NME better, but Rythminds rounds were much more creative and very hard. Love your reactions bro keep it up! edit: i think they voted rythmind because his semi final and quarter final were stronger than NME´s, but the battle itself is really close.
still dont quite see how rhythmind won this one though i mean sure he had some neat ideas but from a pure musicality, creativity and sounddesign standpoint nme took this battle easily i think they got blinded by the whole "headshot" thing and i found it pretty disrispectfull from the judges to encourage it i know that behind the scenes all of them are cool but on stage that is just unprofessional and influences the decisionmaking in a pretty shit way
In my opinion it could have gone either way, for me NME was just as good as rhythmind right there. It really comes down to preferation when the battle is on such a high level on both sides. It must have been a 3:2 Vote for Rhythmind...
@0:55 Good bro that’s awesome that your willing to watch the back and forth between them I have a few Loopstation battles that you can react to that has That Back and forth I’ll write them down after this reaction 😁😂
Man, I really like your reactions. They're excellent, and the commentary you give on top of that is spot on and adds a ton to the video. Keep up the awesome work, bro.
Hey man, I'm loving the beatbox content! I have just seen you saying you aren't going to watch compilations, which is very fair enough! I have suggested MB14 and Saro a couple times now and have found a specific battle! Wolfgang Vs Moonplant 2019 Honestly mind blowing. It's cool too because they remix songs they used against eachother in the battle you watched between them.
23:34 there are always different opinions on who should've won which battle. I have a lot of those opinions. But anyway yeah like uhh so the drops that rythmind had going for him hit even harder live, so that's a factor. I think headshot paired with the flatline scheme put him over the top. Nme def got his respect in 2019 though coming in second with the bold "enough with the drops" statement
NME knows how to do beats ajd drops. He can win on beats and drops. But he really wants to introduce the people to his flow. Its beautiful and it needs to pop off.
I think like NME didnt care about winning the competition, he wanted to prove anyone Is a musical Genius and prove that loopstation Is so much more than only drops, and he Is the best at doing that. I think he should have won. Btw love how u listen ti the round completly silent and then analayze♥️
U know I watched a video on brez and apparently they practice what there going to do before and brez was listening to him practice with another dude and he wasn't originally going to do that what would u call it slicing part but did it accidently during practice and he went with it because it sounded really good
Honestly i wish they did an overtime round. I don’t think it’s ever been done for loopstation but it has for beatbox. uniteam vs kotcha is a great battle with an overtime round.
I think the reason why Rythmind won is because his routines are *perfect* for battles and this is what this was. NME and Rythmind have totally different styles to the point where comparing them isn't relevant. To me, if Rythmind won it is for the context of the competition. I get frustrated when people say NME should've won because it makes it feel like Rythmind didn't earn his victory which he 100% did through the whole Grand Battle. Rythmind fought again and again to the top real' hard! Going at it again and again *and again* ! NME has his name in every mouths of anyone who knows a bit about beatbox since 2018 while Rythmind is part of Berywam and is often associated with them by default, I think it was important for him to win this competion to build indepedence, maybe it was his goal, maybe it was all driven by passion but at the end of the day it feels like this victory *does* belong to him, it doesn't mean he is better than NME because once again comparing them is pointless since they are so different, it means he had the spirit a 100% in the competition, he gave it all, you could see it, feel it- Rythmind is the champion of Grand Beatbox Battle 2019 and this earned him a big reputation and more visibility: he deserves it all and I am so glad he is where he is today.
Maybe this one would be better. As he just made the good point of battles vs compilations. It's Dlow vs Napom. Two of the greatest! th-cam.com/video/DR-_HqT1Xqw/w-d-xo.html
Bro please go for tioneb vs penkyx. Tioneb is such an underrated looper. You are gonna love his stuff and go nuts about it. Please do react. Amazing reaction. Big up❤️
You're absolutely right about compilations. It's way better discovering the rounds in battle with the context
Ugh I hate when the first thing people see is a compilation. You can't get the full effect.
Yes he made a good point there. And I agree now that battle format is better than doing compilations.
that's why he deserved more subscriber
Among youtubers doing beatbox reactions that can't actually beatbox, you have the best comments on these vids :) Keep it up man!
Facts
You definitely right
I think so
If u guys didn't know, NME's second round was the Lothlórien theme (the elves theme) from lord of the rings.
Totally. It even set the scenery of the Elvish Forest
@@Will_Wel yeah its amazing how a lot of people dont recognize the theme, the first time i heard it i recognized it immediatly!
Actually, you could say it was depicting the leave-taking of the elves taking the ships at the grey havens. The surf breaking in the background lends itself to that interpretation to me
Nah man it's Mr. Tumnus flute
@@ac.kwensii yes i forgot to mention that to, its a mix between the Lothlórien theme and mr tumnus flute

yes but Inkie is a must watch aswell. every round was a banger
Rythmind's 2018 loop wildcard was so insane I was surprised he didn't get in that year
Great post. I agree too that I wish Swiss Beatbox would follow loopers through battles. You can figure it out usually but it'd be great to have it together and would probably equal some nice clicks. NME is amazing but he was overmatched.
nah nme's drop was nowhere near the dirtiest
Yeeeeeeeees!!!!! More beatbox!!!!!!!
Love the analysis for each pause!

INKIE had bangers left and right for 2019, i thinkyou should check out each of his battles too!
W8ing for your reaction of Berywams Asia's Beatbox Championship ☺️
Yo check out rythmind vs SoSo. Or rythmind vs balance. They are both very good.
Rythmind is actually part of a beatbox crew called berywam alongside beatness and mb14 used to be a member of.

Rythmind deserve win
