I was glad that Mingshu broke her engagement to the unfaithful Xiao Yinan after giving him more than enough chances to distance himself from Yi Meng Lin. It is always puzzling why a man would think a woman would accept him back when he didn't appreciate her until she was with someone else. It is no surprise that some people underestimate a person and judge them by their appearance rather than by their character as with Yuchen. They knew knowing about him and assumed he was of low status and not wealthy. I loved the chemistry between Sheng Mingshu and Yuchen and liked that despite so many attempts to spoil their relationship, they grew closer together. I hope there will be a part two with the producer developing their relationship more with the new baby and clarifying why Yuchen's father was so hateful and vengeful. Good storylines, attractive cast, and good acting. Worth watching.

Great husband, very manly. I laughed when he grabbed her by the legs and pulled when under the influence of shady medicine 😅😅 This was very good to watch. No toxicity just a man in love worried she would leave him. The female lead was perfect as the haughty 2nd lady who fell for her bodyguard.
No toxicity if you don't count the way the female lead treated her husband bodyguard at the beginning. From using a position to threaten to fire him...to simply under appreciating the guy.

Except for the ML no one looked pleasing to my eyes. The FL character is obnoxious. All she specialises in is making fun of her husband and mingling with her ex. Everyone seems to be entangled with each other in a vicious circle. The ML has an ex who is the current GF of the FL's ex. Apart from that this ex has another ex who wants to harm the FL yet conspired with her to take revenge on her ex. There's FL's sister who is interested in the ML. Confusing, boring, irritating
Now we get the POV of the spoiled, obsessed, rich heiress 2FL/villainess in dramas. She’s so irritating at first but the stern bodyguard that can control/temper her craziness is the perfect foil for her.
I’ve actually seen a better version of this particular plot. The heroine was blind. Im going to continue to give this one a chance. Unfortunately, Im already seriously annoyed with this dumb, spoiled, self-entitled heroine.
Okay FL is such a tsundere... She doesn't want ML to stay near her (eventhough he is her bodyguard) but FL kept calling his name out of danger she met 😅 Okay guys, overall reviews.. The ending was too rushed until we couldn't see the progress of the understanding in between them and they should have create part 2 so we could see it right after their baby was born and how do they handle things in their relationship afterwards.. This story is okay to watch if you don't have any other Dou Yin dramas to watch 😅
I can't believe the FL. She has no respect for marriage, no respect for the ML either as her bodyguard or as her husband, orders him not to follow her when she is stupid enough to go to some old warehouse at night at the request of the woman who is stealing the guy she (for some reason) wants, then starts screaming for him to help her the second she gets in trouble, demands that he drink that soup for no reason that I can discern, other than being on a power trip, and then has the nerve to be offended because he had enough self-control to fight the effects of the drug and NOT assault her after SHE made it clear that she wasn't interested. And that's all within the first half hour. I'll keep watching, at least for now, for the sake of the ML character actually being decent. Maybe it'll rub off on her eventually. 😅
So i liked the plot, as I mentioned, Ive seen it before. Unfortunately, I kept waiting to like the FLs character and never did. She stayed a useless, spoiled brat. Which means that the actress was great. I would love to see her in different parts. The ML was great too. I think this whole thing suffered from a lack of real excitement.

The scripts are similar, same seedy characters and superficial materialistic idiotic people, and about humiliations and revenge. They are for people who envy the wealthy, yet dreaming of marrying them.
Good exciting start, terrible boring ending. A waste of good actors and their momentum. Could have been a good original love story, with leads that had passion, loyalty and love. Ends like the usual bad disappointing dramas. Even the actors were glad it was over.
What would we, the viewers do without the sideline commentators. I always feel they should be in a booth with big mikes and headphones doing the play by play for us viewers too stupid to understand the game 😆

His time was up & he couldn't drag it anymore. And that drugged part confused me after what fl sister said. I thought ml knew & tricked sister somehow but then she was part of it? So what was the plan, when fl & her ex was drugged in a room & if she didn't started to bleed... like what was ml thinking about the whole thing? That ending felt rushed. So its like this or there some cuts made.
