Thanks for posting. I play 4.0 out of Paulding County. Enjoyed watching "Big boy" tennis.A special thanks for you, Acing tennis, and Tennis Troll for the weekly videos. Congrats on the recent Alta City championship!!
I don’t know if it’s the times or the relative inexperience of the players, but power has become the currency of doubles. The serve returns seem to be an opportunity to tee off. I don’t think the percentage of returns going in was 50%. The players seemed to be strangers to lobs. Very few landed in NML. The majority were either long or short. Speaking of NML, it has become very common throughout the country for the lobber’s partner to retreat back to NML to defend an overhead. They become the target. And who thinks half-volleying an overhead is a good idea? These are good players. If they can exercise more ball control, power will follow.
Of course, I am remiss in not mentioning your own forehand return. That's quite a weapon you go there as well. You, Hammers, and Troll to a good extent as well, are doing a really great job at providing high level content- especially since D1 recording seems to be on hold . Interesting to see the set-ups and shot selection - Much appreciated!
It's the same court you and me played. PTS really like our fast courts. Also my partner was playing really well ripping those returns. I started getting little tired in the end. It was very humid. Hopefully will play here again soon!

That match was so much fun to watch! Awesome players. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Solid overheads with smart use of the lob. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Randy!!
Tennis Hammers was crushing overheads on this day!
I’ve been there before 3:14 ! Partner at net calls for poach and my brain doesn’t tell my feet to get moving.
Pretty sure I could rule the world if I had T Psycho's OHB return.
Was nice to have him on my side of the net haha!

It was a close match because PTS didn't bring the cookie monster shirt today ;) jk jk Good match boys. Slaying the ball out there.
