@@LeeroyGankins can you tell me how to plan in the early game because I don't understand the one you gave, and the early game should I get only Paavo feathers or only stats and worry about upgrading spells later I am struggling to get my first win after 280 times of dying and starting over I always come so close to winning but it never happens so what element would you take if you are trying to get your first win
@@jerrelthepoet3311 keys and auras are your friends in the early game -- try to always have 5-10 keys when going into exploration rooms -- synergy is above everything else so the more of one thing you have the better it will be auras+gambit synergies carry more consistently than anything else so focus on that -- bosses dont have a whole lot of health early game/pre destiny levels so it comes down to learning the patterns and getting synergies for last area

I think at the moment, Attack Speed scales really well on Calie for Mox signature spell builds. I recently had a run where I got two Diamond Mox, a double chance and double effect passive on her signature spell, stacked tons of attack speed and I was able to just *SPAM* Yalee effects on bosses
Strange. I've been getting peddlers in Andromeda's bar, not as its own room. I also haven't seen a Peddler room the few times I reached the second area (just started playing).
This is much older update - now its possible to do WAYY more damage more consistenly -- overall the idea is the same though - find synergies that work with your gambits/spells and watch number go brrrr
@@LeeroyGankins Yeah, I've slowly got some good builds finally and seen how far you can get some of these downs. I typically just spam the spells down to deplete. Do you use any strategy in terms of using spells? Thanks
@@ItIsYouAreNotYour I don't think there's a huge amount of strategy for using spells since you have to use them all to get your spell refresh. I try to have one dodge spell, and don't start boss fights with it but cycle through my other spells so that when the boss does it's first attack I can immune it and keep DPS up.
Is any of this info outdated now with the 1.0 changes, especially re: stone altar choices? I'm just picking up the game but it looks like there might be some differences
So they nerfed the dash exploit to stop giving you invincibility frames. However the biggest part of why it is used at all is because it resets your auto attack giving you near infinite attack speed in a group of enemies. Which means it is way less efficient to go attack speed because you have an auto attack reset on your dash (attack speed does shorten longer attack animations, but its better to just steer away from those spells all together because they are also cancelable with your dash.) All this in mind it means half the reason you would even take the attack speed anyway is to speed up mana generation which isnt an issue unless you have 4 3-cost spells Health gives you a bigger heal when using a complete healing shard meaning you get more effective health per star usage Armor gives you more effective health overall and scales incredibly well with higher destiny levels Strength empowers every damage source you have other than summons Crit lets EVERY damage source deal increased damage and scales the best
@@LeeroyGankins Wait, so, all Attack Speed does is decrease intervals between attack combos? From the description I thought it increased the frequency of hits within a combo. Or perhaps I'm not understanding the dash exploit? Your punctuation is nonexistent so it's hard to understand your point.
I revised my earlier comment to hopefully give a better understanding. it isnt as easy as saying attack speed is bad its just better to say its worse then everything else in almost every situation.
every time you encounter and beat the boss it should increase i believe -- could also be a little random if it increases or not -- not 100 percent sure how it works
It makes that zodiac have a higher affinity for you so if you see them in the tavern they will pretty much always go with you -- as well as gives them a chance to give you gifts in random rooms

Attack speed with calie and octave are VERY useful - overall its bonus mana generation as well so can defintely be good in any situation

This video is from a little over a year ago - since then they moved the peddlers to andromeda's bar

Why in final boss before phase 2 I dead??
This video was made before the final boss that is in the game now - also zodiacs dont have a second phase unless you mean their enrage/power mechanic

Def some differences but stone choice is the same - most room priority is the same just kinda depends on what i have at the time
Why do you value Attack Speed so little? Seems like a really strong stat to me, as it is a damage and effect multiplier on the basic attacks.

How do you increase the hearts on the zodiacs in bar?

getting to the boss in new worlds -- world 3 for octave - world 4 for Calie
how do i get the scorpio?
I believe after you encounter him then he has a random chance of appearing in either andromeda's bar or as a challenge summon room
