Despite her talent in music, unfortunately she hasn't been a good role model to promote the image of Indonesia abroad. She is actually French as she changed nationality long time ago. Indonesia doesn't recognise double nationality. Partly because of her, Indonesian women and Asian women in general are perceived to be easy women, servile, not intelligent, sex object, etc. That asian women are to be exploited and abused by Western men. I really wish she can be more careful on how she behave and talk, because after all people still see her as an Asian woman, even though she is French. I've read comments where French people think she is stupid, that she doesn't read books, etc. They ridiculed her a lot. And the attitudes of some Indonesian women in France don't help to improve the image/reputation of Indonesia in France and the world. Their behaviour sadly doesn't help to fight against the Western prejudices or the stereotypes they have on Asian women.
