And, let the Trumpets Sound. It, is time. Glory be to The Great and Almighty Creator Yahweh for his Gloriesness and Righteousness. For he is worthy to be Praised. 😢😢😢😢😢😢
It would be good if whoever posted this video could name the contents. Calling it "Traditional Tibetan ritual chanting" is problematic in several respects. For one, two commenters have already suggested that what we are hearing is, in fact, a Bhutanese puja. The Bhutanese, for better or worse, have been at pains for two centuries now to distinguish themselves from Tibetans. The Bhutanese lineage in the Kagyu branch ofTibetan Buddhism has its own traditions . By stating that the persons in the photo are Tibetan, while the performance is Bhutanese, one of the commenters suggests that Choki might take more trouble about understanding just what they are presenting, as well as whose culture is actually involved. More importantly, this isn't just some Tibetan folk chanting. It is part of a Tantric puja, invoking a particular object of veneration for particular purposes. Specifying what was intended by the people performing it would be more respectful of them than such language as "share the beauty of this culture". We can be grateful to Choki for offering us the video while urging them to avoid cultural appropriation by simply being better informed and sharing the information. Is this really part of a Buddhist ritual in the Bhutanese Kagyu tradition? If so, which one? If not, what was the occasion? Once again, thank you for gift of the recording.
yes, indeed you are correct, the bhutanese ethnic people want to distinguish from the tibetans, but it doesnt mean less than the fact that bhutanese, along with north east indians want it free
Hi Eric, These recordings are found on 'Tibetan Buddhist Rites From The Monasteries Of Bhutan Volume 2 (Sacred Dances & Rituals Of The Nyingma & Drukpa Orders)', recorded by John Levy and released by Lyrichord (LYRCD 7256).

The picture appears Tibetan but the sound is typical Bhutanese.
Thanks for pointing this out. The description at least says that this is related to Bhutan in some way.
Both countries are Tibetan Buddhist and there is no difference in chanting instruments
They are buddhist.
It's Tibetan ......and Bhutan is also a part of greater Tibet
But mother is Tibet. And her Mother is Earth

This are often witnessed in Arunachal Pradesh too, where Buddhism is directly inherited from Tibet.
