@@StormCrusher94 I'm glad that there's no idol mentality in Indonesia, so they can just play with them as normal. It's also kind of clever that they're starting to use Hololive EN (Rikka - Calliope) as a bridge because EN audience would not only not mind Holostars, they would be glad for more content.

@@kylewoodowens4488 Yeah, I think this is what it is. Both Pekora and Moona have been working pretty hard to be able to communicate with each other. Pekora's English (as well as SEVERAL other JP member's English) has gotten noticeably better in past year, and I imagine Moona's Japanese is the same.
@@F1ll1nTh3Blanks moona actually can speak japanese but not fluent, if you follow moona when she's first collab with roboco, she can speak japanese, but someone in chat make moona didn't want to speak japanese again and at all even a single word, but after moona meet pekora, she tried to speak and learn some japanese again

That's good. I hope that little by little, the idea of barriers between Hololivers and Holostars breaksdown. They are also very dedicated to their streams. Much like the early days of hololive though, they are the guinea pigs so to speak. They have to figure out what works best for a "male vtube idol" and run with it. Not only that, but their target audience from what I able to tell from some of their stories is women around the 20-30ish year range. Though youtube has certainly made strides in balancing out its users, about 65% are still male. I'm also pretty sure that the number skews further when just considering gaming content, so its an uphill battle.
Like, Roberu's audience is 80% male, last time he mentioned it.

@@NovaGN It kinda depends on which Holostars. In a few JP articles and sites, Roberu is a highly recommended Vtuber for men older than 30 years old. That's the bulk of his audience, I guess. Many housewives watching him with their husbands too, from what I see some peeps in live chat have said. I have no doubt that the initial intended demographic was probably women, but at the end of the day, most of the boys' personality attracts a lot of men their age, kinda like hanging out with your bros kind of vibe.
