So yesterday we had two 800’s a 700 and a 600 running for around 7 hrs of the work day doing several acres combined at various customers properties. To get 6hrs of continuous run time on this late great blower one would need $20,000 worth of batteries…
Nice video, this blower looks quite heavy and powerful, but I already have a smaller proyama blower that, while not as powerful, is still quite hefty and sufficient for clearing leaves.
I like the concept but it's not for me 18 minutes of run time So you basically need two sets of batteries for a $2000 dollar blower I've already tried the electric hedge streamer and it made it through one season
$999 + 2 (x) $499 batteries + Cost of the charger, you are over $2200 to run 1 blower for 18 minutes? or 36 minutes? Seems about the same type of joke with Toro Revolution grandstands.... Put 6 car batteries in place of a gas motor and raise the price to $36,000 for a grandstand. Yeah... Maybe when the whole setup costs the price of a BR-600 and the batteries last minimum as long as a full tank does on a BR-600. And $6 in gas will last me a long time compared to $999 in batteries.
18 minutes is not long enough, considering iv installed hour meters on my current br800's its nothing for them to do on average 2 hours per day! I appreciate companies investing time and money into battery products but its not even close to contractors needs!
My BR- 600 14 yrs old with no repairs yet. Adjust the valves every 100 hrs. I have only purchased 2 spark plugs and a needed air filter every two years. 45 minutes on a tank of fuel. I'll stay with my BR - 600 backpack. The weight on the BR- 600 is light on my back. Once the batteries fail, just as well replace the whole blower.
I'll pass on this one. It won't even be able too do my front yard before I'd have too charge the batteries. Let alone my backyard(5 charges) that's only for 1 week and we have a solid 6 weeks of leaf season. I fill up my echo(64 ounces) and I get my entire property done with 2-3ounces of fuel left. So gas seems way more efficient too me.
Why not invest all that money and make gas blower more quiet this electric blowers are useless specially when it rain here in Miami Beach gas blowers are ban but no landscaper follow this rule. And city stop giving tickets because they saw no one care about it😂

Wake me up when it’s $600 with 2 batteries that last for 4 hours.
@JoeDavis82 ill set the reminder 😂

The blower weights around 32 lbs with batteries.
When are they coming out with the 900x or c
@chet9055 They didn't mention anything to me about a new gas blower. Hopefully next spring they will announce something.
Ayyyye, a new video from Jay; which must mean another 2 years has gone by 🤣
@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power oh mam that's way to soon! 😂
Getting close for retail... but need more run time
Love my stihl br800x. Won’t ever go electric
I agree with you here, I own the Br- 800x and the BR 600 also. Good blowers.
18 min 😳🤷♂️🤦♂️
Thanks for this video! It's been difficult to find info and coverage on these blowers from anyone who attended Equip Expo this year! Just subscribed!
@_CarlosA appericate the support! Also realized I was the only one who posted a video on this blower.
@@AmbrosLandscapingInc any chance you get footage of the new battery hedge trimmers by Stihl? I believe they're the HSA 140 & 150
@_CarlosA I didn't...but I do have a video on their new AZA700 Battery stand on mower being posted on Thursday.
Love it bro hoping that battery power can get to the price that average landscapers can afford but great seeing the progress made this year
@Unbroken_Lawn_Care completely agree.. there are some great benefits to battery powered tools, but price needs to be the same or close to gas powered.
18 minutes!? That's crazy.
for 2,000 dollars.
@ insanity!
Where’s the BR 900 ?!
weight with the two batteries?

IF YOU GUYS THINK $1000 FOR 2 BATTERIES AND 18 MINUTES OF RUN TIME IS GREAT, YOUR WRONG !!! GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARDS.
100% correct
Batteries not included that’s just the blower

Only 18 minutes bahaha😅 yeah imma stick to my gas powered
18 minutes with 2 batteries bwahahaha!!!!
Overpriced garbage and 💩 run time.
Bought a Stihl BGA85 a few years ago. They discontinued it and the battery pack, so when the battery dies (and its almost there) I have a brick.
That blower uses any AP battery. You could find many new & improved batteries that work with your blower (AP 300S, 500S)
@@_CarlosA Thanks. I'll check it out.
Tf? 2k for 18min

Wow. A whole 18 mins. Nice…….NOT
Br 800 all day long , i will pass on electric
