I looked at the thumbnail, and immediately saw potential in that piece of wood. I'm glad you found it and brought it out! A beautiful bowl with inlay! 😊👍
Hi Ian lovely bowl you made like the blue and green edging very stylish, no Casper today enjoy him in the videos. Look forward to your new project bye.
@@IanMacWoodturning So you must have gotten them perfectly flush with the top since you can’t sand that glass while finishing? Have some round glass pieces that are very colorful but not sure how to inlay them to not mess up with a sanding finish! Thanks for making me think and try to problem solve! Stay well
Looks great Ian love the shape nice grain and I was wondering why you were putting the little blocks in the bowl surprise 😲😲🎉 the inlay looks awesome 👍👍👍👍

@@IanMacWoodturning I'm fine Ian hope family are all OK and casper 😊👍
Lovely bowl Ian. I haven't seen the sawdust and wood glue patch used in a while, very effective. The inlay looks fun. Keep well, Rob
Cheers Rob! Yeah I’ve not done it in a while, it’s probably one of the more effective ways of filling the cracks to be honest.
@@IanMacWoodturning I am going to have to copy that at some point.

Beautiful bowl. The inlay was a Suprise, I was wondering why you showed pouring something into the bowl.
Haha yeah that part of the video corrupted so it kind of had to be a surprise
Oh, it's really pretty! The inlay definitely was a surprise! The wood is beautiful, I'm glad you rescued as much as you could.
Thanks Gwynn! Glad you liked it 😊
That turned out really good! Inlay was a very very nice touch. What gouge was that you were using?
Very nice 👍🏻
Thank you!
Nice work
Thanks!
Ian Mac, known for his really tiny trowel! 😁 I did wonder why you tipped all those blocks into the bowl midway through the video!! Turned out great!
Hahaha cheers mate, the clip of the whole inlay being done corrupted so I had to skip past it 😂
Beautiful work mate, really nice! how are you liking the Axminster chuck - and where did you get your brand from?
Very nice, aspen can be very colorful. What was the inlay material Ian? Well done once again!
Thanks! The inlay is glass, they’re like little glass cubes, thought it would be something different, hope you’re doing well

How are you liking that chuck mate would you recommend, and where did you get your branding iron?
I would recommend the Chuck to be honest mate, it does a good job. The branding iron is from stampsdirect.co.uk I believe.
@@IanMacWoodturning thanks mate much appreciate your opinion!
