This is a terrific arrangement. You expect any performance with Mr Alessi to be wonderful, but some arrangements are better than others - this is one of those. BTW, to the 3 people that gave this a thumbs down - what the @#$% is wrong with you? Even clarinetists would appreciate this... drummers, even. C'mon.
@@snuklens You are right, I stand corrected. But now, I'm a little disappointed with the bass bone part....unless he was using a tenor. Sounds a bit "blatty" to me 🤷🏻♂️ Not what I'd expect from a symphonic bass trombonist.
Do yourself a favor - look up The Guy with the Slide Trombone - Tommy Dorsey, 1945 From a movie called Thrill of a Romance and the song should be elsewhere on TH-cam. A young Buddy Rich plays drums. A lighter take on this old Franz Liszt number.
