Birth of Scania 4 series (original video - factory & road test)

My mix of the best scenes from several of the original Scania Truck video from 1988 (first scene with cabs on table) to 2002 (eXc).
This video shows how scania emerged from sketches to test prototype vehicles.
Designing started in late 1987,in 1989 Stile Bertone showed Scania P and R cab project,in 1990 T cab in nearly finished form, almost identical with that which went into production.
In 1991, Scania had completed the first prototype for road testing.
Initial production started in 02.1994,basic production started from 10.1995 in Europe and early 1998 in Latin America.
In 09.2002 on IAA Show in Hanover Scania showed biggest cab-"eXc".In small production version (in Laxa S.V. factory) named "Longline".
Cab "4 series" after modifications is still produced as "R series","G series" and "P series".After twenty years of design still looks good.

In Hong Kong also some 4 series, but most of them will withdrawn in this year due to Euro 3 force retirement for commercial vehicles law in Hong Kong

Aidan Rule you can, they are called the scania T. They're basically a scania 4 series/R series with a nose, it's seen twice in the first clip.

Many people still ask me about that very rare spcecial version polish hits from '90 s and I have to say that in fact there is nowhere to go find !I found this song on the polish site 7 years ago... But I have a solution ! I'll throw this mp3 on TH-cam in oryginal quality ,which I have = only 128 kbs ,but good quality.If I make short video in HD quality and without compresion ,YT gives 128 kbs (normaly only 64) for audio track. Now you must use aTubeCatcher (my favorite) in "mp3 profile" and saved on own HD.Ofcourse you can now use aTubeCatcher - with this video.
