I saw her live, front row, during her Goddess tour in the US and she grabbed my hand and it was amazing. But I'm so happy to see how much she's evolved since that day, over two years ago. I love the slight choreography and the background dancers. It all adds more dimension to the performance, tells a story, and really there's no other way to do it. As an artist gets bigger, so do their venues, which means so should their performances.
Oh God. I so, so, so love what she's become. I mean I was getting a clue since her debut album what direction she might go, and this is just what I expected. I love how she is a smiling and open person but still on stage she expresses all of her darkness inside. I just love the outfits. I love the choreography. I love how dancers accent all of the song's melody even synth parts. I also love how she handles both mics with vocal effects. This is a real artist who's putting her soul into her own music. It's really hard to find someone like this these days. I'm a writer myself, almost everything has been already created in music, it's almost impossible to be original, but she handles it great. She has her own style which is just soooo unique. I've seen Ariana Grande using the Gloves from Imogen Heap and it sounds just exactly like IH by Ariana Grande. It's just the tool it depends how you use it. But Jilian did great job always making sure there is that dark baritone deformed male voice following her with every note she sings. It's a little bit haunting but in amazing way. She really earned a title of Goddess.
is it just me or do her backing tracks always overpower her live vocals? she has an incredible voice but everytime i watch a live video i can barely hear her :/
