For someone who dislikes mono red so much I don't get why he doesn't just play bo3. Mono red isn't a thing there and the format has much higher quality games.
Love watching you play control against Domain. The slow, constricting grip of u/w strangling the over-the-top Timmy nonsense of Domain is so satisfying. With each spell you cast, the energy, even their desire, to continue playing magic fades. It is art in its purest form.

I only have time for 2 or 3 games anyway, id much rather they look like real magic instead of the same turn 3 or 4 "face is the place" gameplay that some people find so interesting.

There's a bunch of UW control lists that are basically 57 of the same sort of control cards and then your choice of 3 finishers like ezrim, chrome host, jace, cryptic coat. They've got the same mirrexes and anchorages for grinding it. They might vary it up on some card choices like quick study vs deluge vs deduce, more lockdowns/marches for boros, union of the third path for RDW, some with depopulates, usually a celestus or two, I favor a 1 ironcreg, but lets be real these are all the same deck doing the same thing and its Tier 1 right next to boros
I think many of your viewers may be nervous to play BO3 because not many people do it on the large TH-cam channels. It would probably be a good showcase to introduce a lot of players to that side of the game.

Ezrim ❤ first card I opened in MKM packs. Instantly added to my control pile as an alternate win con (I didn't have any Jace yet...) carried me to platinum last season 😂 I'm looking at trying to build an esper clues pile with Ezrim, Teysa, Lazav and candy trail/deduce but need more cards 😆
Hey CGB, this is going to be a little long so I just wanna start off by saying, You, the Person, matter to me. Also CONTROLL!!!!!!!! WOOT!!!!! I recently saw your vid about retiring and wanted to let you know that you are more than just content. There's a dozen other Control focused players I could watch if they only thing I cared about was what deck they were playing. But most of them are hard to watch because I wish they were you. I would rather see a Happy CGB playing whatever is fun for him, then most other content creators on TH-cam. And hearing that you do content everyday sounds stressful for you. If you need to take a vacation and get away, then do it. A small break followed by doing what is fun for you might be just what you need. I probably only watch a small percentage of your videos and I understand that the huge focus away from Standard is frustrating (trust me, I feel it too lol), but as long as you keep releasing videos I'll keep watching. Even if you were only doing like 1 video a week, I'll still be here. Not only because I like your content, but also because I like supporting you. I don't know what you wanna do with this channel, but some things that I personally would be interested in would be like a FTP grind towards Mythic that is control player focused. Not just make a cheap aggro deck and get there with a 55% winrate by spamming enough games. But playing an archetype that doesn't get the love in that style of video. I also like when you play viewer submitted decks. The thought of being able to see you play the deck I play to see what you do differently or what changes you would do sounds awesome. I'm a Control Mage at heart, and I would rather watch you play that type of deck (even if it isn't my personal brand of Control) way more than I would want to watch you play some aggro deck. But variety is the spice of life, and switching it up some does keep things fresh and interesting. I would like to see you play more decks that you personally enjoy playing as it does shine through when you enjoy a deck. Hope you're able to find something that works for you so I can continue watching the videos you make, but when it's over, I just hope you are happy and in a good place. I'll end this by reiterating that you in fact do matter to me. You are more than just a content machine for our entertainment. Long time watcher (since back in Kaldheim). Would love to see a best of 3 video again especially with one of the best azorius players in the world. I'd recommend one Jace in the main one in the sideboard and sub out a smite or a march for the starting bo3.
What a beautiful grinder game again against ramp! Those are always so satisfying. And I agree too with the others in the comments, if you enjoy Bo3 or interested, you should go for it. There's a lot of us who find it fun to watch, who enjoy competitive style of magic 😊❤

i need to ask a question. at about the 20 min mark CBG said "are they running 24 land control deck?" the question is why did he ask that? is 24 too many? too few? and why. that just stumped me i always thought 24 was just the go for number for anything but mono red.
I'm a dad and I may not play as often as I like but at least I play a deck that stimulates the brain. Plus the very least I can watch/listen (thanks btw) while I do my responsibilities. Point is play a real deck 😛

Please play some Bo3 CGB! I know it's not your thing, but it'd be nice to get once or twice a week!!! It is a far less cheap way to play Magic. (Even though I admit that Bo1 is quick and easy fun, and I like it too.)

its not "interesting" but playing RDW is the fastest way to rank...albeit boring...but the games go quick...which is the whole purpose.
What i dont understand is the need to rank up to mythic playing the same deck every day...that is beyond boring
