I always found interesting interesting that his engine is in his calves. I mean I walk and run a lot, not just in plain terrain, mostly on uphills and I can easily tell you that humans use their thigh muscles more than their calves during running. They should have thought about it a little bit more.
Actually the calves are used just as much. The calves lift your ankles to push you off the ground and propel yourself forward. With that said, it makes sense for the engines to be in his calves to allow faster forward movement.

I would think when he was younger he got lots of leg cramps. But since he’s older and his legs are stronger I don’t think he gets cramps that frequently anymore.
