I was born to a Mapuche single mother in the 80s and brought to the USA. I can't wait to come back to Chile, I want to learn everything I can about my heritage.

I’m Chilean-American, and I recently discovered my genetic routes to this culture. Most Chileans are 30-40% indigenous Chilean, which is predominantly Mapuche. My family while I was growing up never really had a culture, so I was interested in investigating this root.

Help them get back their home! Many Europeans bought lands in the 1900s and are now being threatened by some mapuche.. but they don't want to leave because they say living more than 100 years there is enough to call it their home but the mapuches have lived over 2000 years there! It's ridiculous. And the government gave bad land to the mapuches, and the good land with benefits to the European. It's just sad that there is no room for a solution which will help them
