I totally disagree about the long cardigan with the white skirt and top. I think it looks really great - elegant! I like it much more with that than with the black short jacket!!

Helen, I keep thinking you should take a disposable plastic poncho for you and Mum. They are small and fit in your handbag!! Anyway, I liked the long cardigan with your skirt and the trousers!! Helen, I Love the colours of cream, white, beige, black...that long cardie is beautiful with everything. Now then...I adore that large Hermes style handbag for travelling but I wd say with a Tweed Classic style jacket and either à White or cream blouse or T shirt. I don't like the black bomber jacket n red T shirt at all....Sorry !!! Have a Wonderful Holiday. 😊

Oh Helen you could stay for 2 weeks & wear something different every day! Travel out in your heaviest layers, homeward bound the same. That leaves 6 days - 4 tops, 4 bottoms mixed & matched should be plenty. Pack as outfits. I always pack an empty toilet bag & stuff shoes & trainers with toiletries to save space. (Bet you take something out of your case now!) Have a lovely time, don’t worry, it’s all about making memories with your family & you always look gorgeous. Safe travels x

Hi Helen. If I could pack my wardrobe, I would. I'm a just in case person. Take far too much. End up not wearing half but weather in this country is so unpredictable. Got to pack for all seasons. Always find it interesting how people pack. I tend to roll a lot of my clothes. Have a lovely time with your family xx
I stuck with you😂😂 I get into such a stew packing for this country, the weather is so unpredictable. Packing for winter sun is a breeze by comparison! Always a relief when the bags packed. Have a great time.
I’ve taken magnesium for over a year and I find it definitely makes me more relaxed at night and now get. A good couple of hours sleep ,,so very impressed by it
Packing cubes are my go to . I wouldn’t pack without them. Mia Tui sell really good ones .

I totally get your dilemma. I am like you, I love clothes have lots and want to take everything. The thing is, when you take the time to work out a capsule wardrobe you can save time when you are away, then you realise how good it would be to have less clothes. I am away at the moment for 9 weeks holiday and realise you can wear the same clothes over and over again. You end up wearing less and less and the same things on repeat, it does make life easy. Go away and have a brilliant time. Xx

I do the same trick with the trousers. I lay clothes on the case on top of them then fold them in. No creases that way. Enjoy your trip. X

I love watching you pack, very different from me. I use packing cubes which I love and I don't take lots of clothes, I've got good at only taking enough. Gone are the days of bring stuff back unworn 😂 Have a fabulous holiday with your family. ❤

I've lost my mom and all but one sister now, so really savor each moment you have with them. I am of Irish descent but I think most Americans seem to say that. LOL Safe travels!!!💚☘

My sister and I have a week with my mum every year and we know it’s coming to the time when despite wanting to my mum won’t be able to even leave her home. We have a great time, letting my mum tell stories that we may have heard a hundred times but it’s being together that matters. I loved the long cardi went well with the skirt - you are a very attractive ‘egg timer ‘ shape ( as I am and I always wear maxi cardis) and that works all the way down @and the bottom of the cardi pulls you. In and the skirt peeps out and has a very lovely flounce just showing below. It did work with the jeans as you loved . ENJOY 😊
You look lovely in everything, Helen! I loved the long sweater with the pants…looks expensive and you look classy and rich. In that vein, may I recommend losing the belts on the other two outfits in the first portion of the video…the white and also the brown I believe…they break that monochromatic line you have going with the beige/creamy outfits which are exquisite (love the gold spotted shirt, and I think the white belt takes away imho🤷🏻♀️)…the gold shoe are spectacular and everything looks great! Have a blast and enjoy your family…make forever memories…I’m jealous!
