Unless robinhood can achieve competitive spreads, i'm not using it. Research and analysis tools are also mediocre. From what i've heard, robinhood is best used for yoloing your life savings on options.

SOFI isn't a pure brokerage firm, it's a Fintech financial business that has a brokerage segment. You're comparing a V8 engine to a 4 cylinder one, it's a lot more work to maintain and fix a V8 since it has more moving parts that need to be addressed in a specific manner.
What can Robinhood offer that SoFi isn’t already doing? And unlike Robinhood, SoFi hasn’t tarnished its reputation like RH has with the whole meme stock thing.
I’m wondering how many people are using SoFi as their sole bank, as opposed to an additional app to their main bank. If SoFi doesn’t break out of being a companion app to another bank, it will be difficult competing Robinhood..

Right now it's UI, that is where SOFI can pretty much compete with HOOD, but right now HOOD is for stocks and SOFI is for banking
