He's not weak, but his strength comes from fear. If it wasn't for that the story wouldn't be very interesting...He'd be invincible and the story would become meaningless.
Anti Social - I look at this clown's hair and think back to the days I used to watch The Bozo Show before heading off to school, although IT's hair is a bit wilder than Bozo's and IT having two rabbit-like incisors is pretty weird. Although IT representing a rabbit is kind of funny considering that there's also a talking turtle in the novel, if you think about the tortoise and the hare.
I freaking loved this film. As an aspiring horror director it makes me so happy to have a film that I can admire for its character development in addition to its scares. Making horror films is an art and it is very challenging to get it just right. I believe this film did it excellently. Horror films aren't just about the horror, but the characters themselves and how they interact with each other. Great review Jeremy!
Everyone loved the first image, it was when they zoomed out on the second one and whe saw the unnecessary hydrocephalus forehead and old clothes that most people started hating it. Specifically because Pennywise represents childhood fears, things you lived as a kid and scared you, that's why Tim Curry is still feared even though the series was kind of ok at best.
"IT" didn't scare me much. I mean the jump scares were on point (really on point but) that's it for me. I loved the story it was very different from your typical Horror movie, I loved Pennywise he did master his scary moments which I liked and I loved how messed up some characters were (Bev's dad and the bully) and the kid actors were great I really appreciated how closely they resembled normal children (Yes parents your kids may not have a pg13 mouth when they aren't around you) all in all a movie I really Liked, It didn't scare me like I said but very entertaining and worth a watch.
Yeah I've always wondered if Bill had a lazy eye or something wrong with his eyes because they always seem like they slightly drift apart so that makes sense!
Saw the movie and it was great...!!!! I had about 9 spine tingling scary moments. First movie that I didn't get up to go to the bathroom... The theater was packed, so show up early for great seats...
A couple of the bigger plot points in the book were that they were more than kids and were being forced to be adults instead of growing up like a normal kid. Another thing is that they are really close so they wouldn't care if they were naked together

The scene he's talking about where he said "oh they showed that" I HOPE TO GOD ITS GEORGIE GETTING HIS ARM RIPPED OFF, that was such a brutal part of the book that I hope they show it
Jeremy is by far my most trusted and beloved movie reviewer on the internet. Just wanted to show some love forthe endless amount of amazing content dude. Appreciate ya!!!
This is one of the worst comparison anyone could ever make. Most of the important characters already had their own solo movie or had been in one or two of the previous solo films. Additionally marvel movie generally had a longer run times. 10-11 years of films vs a One-shot is a comparison for a laymen.
Gotta love at those few below saying "This movie sucks" or "This movie is trash" and yet never elaborate further on that, because they either can't or because they secretly know they're wrong.
SicParvisMagna123 Nah man I mean I’ve seen plenty of horror movies and I know it’s great for visuals and stuff and character building but I think it falls flat on its face after the first hour and a half...
SicParvisMagna123 A few reasons off the top of my head why this film was garbage: Bad CGI 14-year old 80s kids act and behave much differently than 11 year old 50s kids, there was no sense of that childlike innocence and comeradery Patrick Hockstetter should have never been included if they just waste the character's potential Belch and Vic have like one line each and disappear from the entire fucking plot in the last quarter of the film when they're supposed to die The kids don't face off against the Spider, Pennywise is the "final form" They beat a paranormal villain with metal pipes, absurd No Ritual of Chüd Bizarre changes to the characters like Mike working as a...cattle killer? I don't even know what the phrase for that is The Apocalyptic Rockfight is downright silly Plot points had to be cut due to budgetary restrictions (the Smoke-Hole vision) There isn't a single age demographic that's scared of this film and it's a horror film Misleading and disingenuous trailer led a lot of book fans to believe that this adaptation would be more faithful to the novel than the 90s miniseries (how wrong we were)
Half of the excuses above are barely valid. Like saying it should have been done this way when it wasn't even done like it in the book, or stupid results that were the same as in the book but people still decide to complain about them.
Love your reactions. Really good points being made. I really was impressed with this. Cause I didn't think it would top the first one but it did. Loved the kids' work in this as well.
I love horror movies, been excited about this one for awhile. I take your opinions in mind heavily because we seem to have the same mindset when it comes to interests in movies, so I'm very fucking happy this review is positive, so stoked!
I really didn't care if it's scary or not. I saw IT last Saturday. The movie got me a few times but the rest was decent. People say that IT was absolute shit but it honestly wasn't . This movie has a better story than other modern horror movies, and remember. This is based on the novel, not the mini series. To me, IT was 😌👌. And to those who will hate on me, I don't care. IT=9/10
Remember when the first images of Pennywise came out and people said he looks like shit? Well remember they all said the same about Heath Ledger's Joker...nuff said.
LoadedChimichanga As a huge fan of It, as well as King's other books, I was one of those disappointed in the look. Not in Skarsgård, I'm just one of those annoying people nitpicking little differences from the book. It's funny, both Curry and Skarsgårds Pennywise have similarities and differences to the book; in the book Pennywise is described as having a baggy silver clown suit, blue tie, orange pom poms down the front, floppy clown shoes, a white face, with red lips, bald head with orange tufts of hair coming off the sides. Curry had the baggy clown suit but it was colorful, he had the white face and bald head, but red hair. Skarsgård has the silver suit, but its more like a Victorian doll rather then a clown suit, and though his hair is orange and face is white, it's dingy looking...like dirty and worn, I guess trying to portray an antique look. And not wild about the huge forehead and buck teeth...I guess it just clashes with the Pennywise that appears in my head when I read the book. But I think Muschietti put his heart into this, and understand he wanted to make some tweaks to make it his own. And I *do* think Skarsgård is going to act it out amazingly, and am excited to see his performance :-)
Hearing this review, I might just go see IT now. And I'm the one that typically steers clear of horror movies; but if there is that much good stuff in it, and it's more intense than "jump scare-y", I would definitely give this a try.
This movie was amazing! Cast was fantastic. Production value was awesome. Character development was more than I could have wanted. And the scary factor blew my mind. It was so gokd
Just got back from seeing IT. Richie and Eddie were easily the best characters in the movie; they literally stole every single scene with their lines and charisma. I didn't enjoy the first half of the film as much as I did the second, but that's pretty common. I also didn't find it particularly scary. The acting was great but I don't think the movie was anything amazing. Just my opinion. I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts!
To be honest I was disappointed with the horror aspect of this movie. The characters and acting was great but the horror scenes were just full of cheap jumpscares.
This didn't make me jump, it actually didn't. More rather...It unnerved me, disturbed me. There was something about this movie that didn't make me jump in shake, but it did creep me out. For example, Beverly's relationship with her father had me on edge. Or when Georgie was talking with Pennywise. "You'll float too! You'll float too! You'll float too, you'll float too, you'll float too...(etc.)" That line by Georgie was delivered nicely, it wasn't annoying, it was disturbing.
So many jumpscares i watched it with 1 hand over my left eye to be able to stay through it. But still, it was a very well made movie and i should've expected it to be scary AF.
I saw IT a few days ago and as a teenager who is currently still in high school, it was refreshing to me to be able to relate to the kids in the movie. They weren't goody two shoes, no they were actual kids. Meaning they cursed, they fought, and they loved each other in the end. So many movies nowadays don't know how to properly put kids in a movie, they always seem fake or generic. But this movie did a fantastic job, so much so that I followed the entire cast on social media! Overall fantastic movie I highly recommend seeing it!
This movie still had a few problems that plagues horror: fucking jumpscares. I understand that it can be helpful but there is a tad too much reliance on it.
You have to admit that they did not rely on jump scares as much as some horror movies. They would jump scare you, but you saw the thing before the loud noise played. Other than that, the movie was genuinely more creepy at times when you just saw it. For example when IT shows its teeth. That was genuinely creepy. It showed us that there were more levels to IT than meets the eye. It was great in that regard.
Ewan Dobson the thing is,the jokes are SUPPOSED to be toilet humor your mom play-ground jokes, they're barely teens,it's not like they're suppose to be these comedic geniuses, the reason most people laugh is because they can connect to when they were like that, and laughing with their friends, besides that,I thought the kids were great and had good development, and while the movie did have jumpscares, they weren't using them every 90 seconds, and timed them right, especially the bathroom scene with bev and her dad
There were jumpscares, but the thing I like about this movie is it builds tension. There were several scenes where I was gripping on to the handles of my seat. I thought the movie was great and creepy. Yes, there are jumpscares in it, but at least it doesn't overload with jumpscares like Insidious and The Conjuring and most horror movies from the 2010s do.
Okay so here are the reasons I was disappointed with the movie. Pennywise shouldn't be able to get that close to the kids without killing them. He devours every kid he touches but the main characters get to live for so much longer just because they're the main characters and they're not supposed to die (which makes sense, because that's the way it's written in the story). I thought it was stupid that they put Pennywise so close to the kids (Holding Eddie up and laughing in his face and delaying harming him for a super long time, grabbing Bev by the throat and taunting her before doing anything, etc.) The closest it actually got to killing any of them was gnawing on Stan's face, and he was still fine, while Georgie and Patrick instantly died. Second, there is no genuine fear. I like movies that elicit a feeling of dread, something so bone-chilling that it remains in your head for a long time. I left this movie without that at all... the entirety of the movie's scares were extremely loud noises and enhanced CGI. Another annoying thing was the kiss that got Bev out of the trance. That was just stupid and cliché. And lastly, the ending didn't leave me scared. It shows them defeating him with some baseball bats and punches. If the clown is really that vulnerable and easy to hurt, why is he that terrifying and dangerous in the first place? It doesn't really lead up to the sequel at all, even though we know IT isn't dead. I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I want to hear all of your opinions, because it seems like the vast majority of people liked the movie. I didn't and I was really confused about why it got so hyped up and received such amazing reviews. I'm genuinely curious.
Ali B the reason pennywise never directly killed the main characters was because they werent so afraid to run away. They stood their ground and despite being scared of the clown, managed to stay in the same room with him whenever one of the loser's club was in peril. Pennywise found this to be a challenge, but he still wanted to find new ways to scare the shit out of them, practically toying with them. In the end he realized he had no power over them and left to hibernate in the sewers for another 27 years. In my opinion the movie did a great job with pennywise and his methods of nightmarish torture towards the kids in the movie.
I was terrified just because I'm easy to scare, but I hated that the kiss got bev out of the trance. Especially since she was leaning toward a love-interest in Bill. It was sooo cheesy and unnecessary.
Director Andy Muschietti kept Bill Skarsgård separate from the child actors up until they had to shoot scenes together. On the day of their first scenes together, the production staff warned the kids about how scary Skarsgård could be while in character. The kids brushed this off, claiming that they knew he was just an actor in a costume and that they were professionals and would be fine. However, when the time came for Skarsgård to be Pennywise for the scene, the kids were genuinely terrified.
I'm a Nigeria. Watched IT and remembered my own days in boarding house in the 90's, being bullied by senior boys. Guess some things don't change worldwide.
Jayy Savage trolling at its finest i watched the first movie another two times its four hours long and boring as hell nothing happens, pennywise doesnt try at all to get the kids or adults, the child actors were better then the adults, tim is great but not enough of him in the movie not many famous quotes from him but was definitely having a blast, the new one is dark scary and has dark comedic moments example the whole haunted house scene
Vk Deen I knowww. When I was 13 I watched some youtube video with all pennywise appearances and after that I "saw" him in the dark. So that's why I'm scared 😂 but I'm interested and I want to get over the fear. But this might not help with that 🤔 oh well.. I'll go see it and have nightmares for few months 😅
I didn't find this movie scary at all, but I still thought it was an okay movie. I kinda wish it wasn't done by a major studio. It came across too "commercially safe" in terms of horror. Nothing got under my skin and got me scared psychologically. That's what I was missing and wanting from this.
volcano83 Everyone is praising the cgi and monstrous imagery of this one and saying the original can't compare in that department but the original def has more of the horror element that the new one lacks I absolutely agree
volcano83 yeah *SPOILER ALERT* kid stabbing and killing his dad, kid cutting his name into another ones belly, implied abuse if not incest. Commercially safe af
That projector scene scared the absolute shit out of me
Jake Gibbard me too..... Bad.
My Dad had wide open eyes and had his hand on his chest.
Pizza Pasta Yup. First I was cheered up after Bev beat her father and then I screamed when I saw Pennywise grabbing her. That was a good jumpscare!
It was a cool scene, but not really scary.
If you want scary watch The Shining.
Not as bad as the sewer scene
The kids were too funny 😂

Plot twist: the turtle was Oogway
the best part of this movie is going to be seeing Bill separate his eyes without CGI!!!! yes... this was why he was cast...

I think the best part of the film was when they fought pennywise together. They did it really well and showed how weak pennywise really is.
Pennywise is actually a god
Pennywise is only weak if you don't fear him. If you're scared even just a little bit, he's practically a god.
In the book he's literally a god.
SilverDragonEyess He is here too, he just has no power when the person hes against doesn't fear him
He's not weak, but his strength comes from fear. If it wasn't for that the story wouldn't be very interesting...He'd be invincible and the story would become meaningless.
Notice how much he says "it" In his review
Marvelmania360 well it is the title of the movie and it is a very common word in the English language
Drink every time he says "it"
wait till the movie 'She' comes out
Gaaaaah, he said the one word the Knights of Nee cannot say
Marvelmania360 he nailed IT
Horror films been killing it recently.

Nice to hear positive reviews about IT today. I was hoping that it wasn't going to disappoint like other movies over the summer.
Andrew Snarls I was expecting it to be terrible! Glad to hear it's not
Andrew Snarls the clown from it 2017 looks like a rabbit bruh wtf
Andrew Snarls just got back from watching it. Tremendously disappointing
Spookish - I haven't gone to see IT yet, I'm just finishing up the novel before doing so. Hearing that it was disappointing for you is disappointing.
Anti Social - I look at this clown's hair and think back to the days I used to watch The Bozo Show before heading off to school, although IT's hair is a bit wilder than Bozo's and IT having two rabbit-like incisors is pretty weird. I am one of those annoying people that thought Pennywise looked pretty awesome from those first images.
Velkoria Yeah I thought he looked creepy for sure
Campy Camel I think everyone agrees with you they didn't like it (legit no pun intended) for other reasons
I reckon everyone was still hung up on Tim Curry's Pennywise. Still awesome in its own way but this movie needed something new.
Velkoria 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Everyone loved the first image, it was when they zoomed out on the second one and whe saw the unnecessary hydrocephalus forehead and old clothes that most people started hating it. I read that Pennyewise's askew eyes aren't actual visual effects, just a random ability the actor can do lol props for that
Yeah I've always wondered if Bill had a lazy eye or something wrong with his eyes because they always seem like they slightly drift apart so that makes sense!
Bill is also a contortionist so all the fucked up Pennywise movements are completely him.
Saw the movie and it was great...!!!!

The theater was packed, so show up early for great seats...

Lucar IT was my second horror movie too lmao
You'll be fine, it's not really scary nor is it really that psychologically "thrilling".

I just saw IT. I give a 8.5/10.
Just to note
It's NOT a horror, but a thriller.
How is it not a horror movie?
if this movie came out in 1990, it would be banned from all cinemas..

It is a horror movie....read the description....and also read why it is rated R
The guy who played pennywise actually has uneven eyes its not an effect
no he doesnt have uneven eyes but he can move both eyes in different directions.

Just saw it... a LOT of jump scares. It felt like your typical old school horror movie... and it was great!
Aaron Villalobos I don't remember it having a lot jumpscares? Lol
Yeah me either. Is was an average horror-dark comedy movie.
Maybe 1 jump scare. Tf are you talking about
Aaron Villalobos 1 jump scare and it was pretty original and not typical...
Yeah there was only one major jump scare because I wasn't anticipating it. Other than that all the other scary moments were usually built up and you could see it coming.
First chris stuckmann, then jeremy jahns just two hours later.... I'm being spoiled today

IT: We have 7 characters to juggle and not everyone has their moment.
Avengers Endgame: Hold my beer, and Infinity Stones
Endgame also had 10 years worth of films to build the characters up.
This is one of the worst comparison anyone could ever make. Most of the important characters already had their own solo movie or had been in one or two of the previous solo films. Additionally marvel movie generally had a longer run times. 10-11 years of films vs a One-shot is a comparison for a laymen.
Anyone else expecting him to say 'Awsometacular'?
Gotta love at those few below saying "This movie sucks" or "This movie is trash" and yet never elaborate further on that, because they either can't or because they secretly know they're wrong.
SicParvisMagna123 I just dont give a fuck, thats it
SicParvisMagna123 Nah man I mean I’ve seen plenty of horror movies and I know it’s great for visuals and stuff and character building but I think it falls flat on its face after the first hour and a half...
This movie was trash. No scary parts at all. Non realistic. Too much CGI. No main characters died.
SicParvisMagna123 A few reasons off the top of my head why this film was garbage:
Bad CGI
14-year old 80s kids act and behave much differently than 11 year old 50s kids, there was no sense of that childlike innocence and comeradery
Patrick Hockstetter should have never been included if they just waste the character's potential
Belch and Vic have like one line each and disappear from the entire fucking plot in the last quarter of the film when they're supposed to die
The kids don't face off against the Spider, Pennywise is the "final form"
They beat a paranormal villain with metal pipes, absurd
No Ritual of Chüd
Bizarre changes to the characters like Mike working as a...cattle killer? I don't even know what the phrase for that is
The Apocalyptic Rockfight is downright silly
Plot points had to be cut due to budgetary restrictions (the Smoke-Hole vision)
There isn't a single age demographic that's scared of this film and it's a horror film
Misleading and disingenuous trailer led a lot of book fans to believe that this adaptation would be more faithful to the novel than the 90s miniseries (how wrong we were)
Half of the excuses above are barely valid.
Wow, that first time and a long time he said a movie was good 😆
Travis Mack what about Wind River?
So, looks like he liked...
...
This movie.

Stephendw Wut M8!? 😂
The 2017 Pennywize is going to keep me up all night. Happy Halloween.

Michael Scott Please help! I'm drunk and I've fallen over! 😩
My liver would be fucked.
Knights Who Say Ni: "Aaaaugh! Don't Say that Word!"
I love horror movies, been excited about this one for awhile. I take your opinions in mind heavily because we seem to have the same mindset when it comes to interests in movies, so I'm very fucking happy this review is positive, so stoked!
Listening to you talk about IT only furthers my love for this flick!
Jeremy Jahns face in the thumbnail is a dead give away how this review is going to go
I loved the book. To me this is going to be awesometacular
The best part is the end with the: IT - The First Chapter popping up.
Everyone got so hyped in the cinema after that haha
JEREMY! Do you have a prince Albert in a can?
1065chris
You do! Well you better let him out! AH HAH! AH HAH! AH HAH!
Stranger things took a bunch of ideas from the IT novel.
It took a lot of things from other stuff, and yet it's AWESOME !
The death of the one girl's best friend was depressing for me. :(
Steven Dorsey oh Barb ? she needs justice
Avxx00 barb sucked. Let her never return.
Deda Eli do you even have a life ?
I really didn't care if it's scary or not. I saw IT last Saturday. The movie got me a few times but the rest was decent. People say that IT was absolute shit but it honestly wasn't . This movie has a better story than other modern horror movies, and remember. This is based on the novel, not the mini series. To me, IT was 😌👌. And to those who will hate on me, I don't care. IT=9/10
Joseph Beltran Agreed
I agree with you.
Would love to see Heath Ledger's Joker versus Pennywise in some way.
hahaha that'd be strangely amazing
Anthony Delorme yes that would be AWESOME!😣😏😂
let's have 'm throw down in a rap battle of history
Remember when the first images of Pennywise came out and people said he looks like shit? Well remember they all said the same about Heath Ledger's Joker...nuff said.
LoadedChimichanga
People normally don't like clowns, lol
Epic4reelzgaming fair enough lol
Potatro tatro The principle is the same, though.
if they read the book they should know how he should look like that
LoadedChimichanga As a huge fan of It, as well as King's other books, I was one of those disappointed in the look.
Chris Jericho said watch....... IT
Eric Fresh Vagina 😂
Eric Fresh Vagina break the walls doooooooooooooooooooowwwwn!
Still waiting for your bioshock infinite spoiler review
forkky lizard THAT has been a long wait for you sir. Lol
Hearing this review, I might just go see IT now. And I'm the one that typically steers clear of horror movies; but if there is that much good stuff in it, and it's more intense than "jump scare-y", I would definitely give this a try.
ScyPhan yeah it's super intense till the end, a couple of jump scares but the fear is mostly earned through atmosphere
ScyPhan I feel like I can't watch jumpy movies in theaters cause once I jumped and screamed and hit my friend in the face😂
THEY'RE GAZEBOS
They're BULLSHIT
Now the question whose gonna be trending #1 Chris or Jermey
Glad this movie is getting good reviews!👍
Did we saw the same movie or is this a new meme I'm not aware of?
Wanamus What the fuck are you talking about? Its been getting 10 outta 10s and 9 outta 10s as well as grossing 200 million in one week. Dumbass
DarklordofDOOM57 I felt the same way. I could predict almost all the jumpscares before it happened
Bitch
Ugly
DarklordofDOOM57 it wasn’t SUPER scary but for me the creativity of parts of the movie made up for that
This didn't make me jump, it actually didn't. More rather...It unnerved me, disturbed me.
There was something about this movie that didn't make me jump in shake, but it did creep me out. For example, Beverly's relationship with her father had me on edge. Or when Georgie was talking with Pennywise.
"You'll float too! You'll float too! You'll float too, you'll float too, you'll float too...(etc.)"
That line by Georgie was delivered nicely, it wasn't annoying, it was disturbing.
Bro it's 5:30am chill
KILL3RT0AST it's also 5:30pm ;)
KILL3RT0AST and also 12:10am
Kevin Owens got suspended
KILL3RT0AST lol
if only the dark tower movie stayed faithful to the books we could have had 2 amazing King movies in 1 year
Chrysies that movie sucked ass
Josh Smith Yeah i know. I'm saying they should have followed the book so it'd be good
Chrysies and it turns out we got two shit King movies instead
Spookish
Why is IT shit? Because it was pretty fuckin good
Davi I was just salty because I wanted it to be scarier.
So many jumpscares i watched it with 1 hand over my left eye to be able to stay through it. But still, it was a very well made movie and i should've expected it to be scary AF.
I loved how Richies mouth was bigger than Pennywise himself😂
They nailed that opening scene
I saw IT a few days ago and as a teenager who is currently still in high school, it was refreshing to me to be able to relate to the kids in the movie. They weren't goody two shoes, no they were actual kids. Meaning they cursed, they fought, and they loved each other in the end. So many movies nowadays don't know how to properly put kids in a movie, they always seem fake or generic. But this movie did a fantastic job, so much so that I followed the entire cast on social media! Overall fantastic movie I highly recommend seeing it!
It was ok, idk i expected more I guess.
FOCUS This was a bad horror movie, but an amazing movie
FOCUS what? Have you seen the older version? What about his new fils don't you like? Dude, pls stop
MatrixEmulator Stop having an opinion? Sorry, not going to happen.
I thought the same thing.
The brand new #ITMovie scared the heck out of me
I afraid go outside
And being alone
Danny Is The Most Beautiful Jew well then you clearly never went to junior high
Danny Is The Most Beautiful Jew Then my school years were very unique...we said it every three seconds.
the entire theatre was laughing when the kid in glasses (dont know his name) made any joke lol
I can't thumb this comment enough, everything you said is 100% factual. Idk why this below average movie is getting so much praise
Could it be??! A REMAKE THAT IS BETTER??!
Well I wouldn't call it a remake since this one is more based off the book, maybe an adaptaion.
Do you think that's what the producers are thinking?
MrMoneyclips they took more from the book and barely anything from the miniseries.
So? Its a remake. Stop mincing words
Big difference between "adaptation" and "remake".
Did you just copy this & then paste it on a ton of review videos for this movie?
Tim Curry will always keep me up at night. Mainly because I keep trying to copy his laugh all these years later.
"Wha-HA wha-HA wha-HA wha-HA!"
Anthony Marchiondo the only good scene from tim curry was the sewer scene and the one where he plays on the door
I clicked on this video so fast like my life depended on it lol
cool
My life depends on this movie too.
Melissa Morales you laugh at your own statements? That's weird.
Just saw IT. January 7th, 2019. Amazing.
I'm a Nigeria. Watched IT and remembered my own days in boarding house in the 90's, being bullied by senior boys. Guess some things don't change worldwide.
Jeremy more like hairy me
Jaree what
Jaree Well Fuck Dude Sweet Burn
Jaree I'm reporting you for harassment
i'm calling the police.
*WORLDSTAR!!!*
This movie killed it
Is this a spoiler?? 😂
Monster X Gaming not necessarily 😉😉😉
dznArro 😂😉😂
I've waited so long for this movie. This is definitely my favorite (horror) movie! And now I can't wait to buy it on bluray!
It was waaay scarier than the first one by a mile. If you disagree, go back and watch it please.
• •big•uzi•horizonal• it wasn’t scary I loved the first one I couldn’t sit through the second one it bored me too much
Yes it is scarier, if you're a 12 year old boy. I'm pretty sure you are.
• •big•uzi•horizonal• I hated the original one.
if you grow up watching it, you're going to agree it was scary for it's time.
I really want to see it but I'm scared .. 😅
SaraMria that's like saying I really want to see that comedy but it'll make me laugh too much 🤣
Vk Deen I knowww.
Vk Deen and I usually don't watch horror movies because I get scared but this... 😅
😅
ahh but you seem like this badass chick who fears nothing😂😂
The lazy eye isn’t an effect, it’s skarsgards acting
They left Stanley in the background because he dies when he gets older
Nasify Eddie's the one who dies in the book tho
radifan anandya it's stanley who commits suicide in the bathtub.
J.P. Czerniak oh yeah he did...
or he just couldn't act very well. There was a line in the movie he delivered soooo poorly.
Chris Taylor Do you mean the "No Richie! She wasn't hot!" That was awful.
IT was scary af , it didn’t disappoint me
He gave it a "Awesometacular" rating in his spoiler video!!😁
I love staring at Jeremy , GOD I LOVE BEING HIDEOUS!!
Loved #IT better than expected!
Imagine remakes of "IT" and "The THING" but with the monsters swapped.
I didn't find this movie scary at all, but I still thought it was an okay movie. I kinda wish it wasn't done by a major studio. It came across too "commercially safe" in terms of horror. Nothing got under my skin and got me scared psychologically. That's what I was missing and wanting from this.
volcano83 Everyone is praising the cgi and monstrous imagery of this one and saying the original can't compare in that department but the original def has more of the horror element that the new one lacks I absolutely agree
volcano83 I'm glad I'm not the only one
volcano83 yeah *SPOILER ALERT* kid stabbing and killing his dad, kid cutting his name into another ones belly, implied abuse if not incest. Commercially safe af
volcano83 You're an idiot
the original script from a different writer had the child sex scene plus rape :/ pretty glad they left that out
Spoiler review, maybe?
Tolyngee "It's come back"
