I'm very hopeful for the inevitable dungeons update. It seems like they're trying to make skyblock more RPG-like, especially after seeing the content from the nether update, so I think there's a lot of potential for making dungeons extremely fun
A more rpg skyblock would ruin the game imo, skyblock is what it is for a reason and i feel like thats why its so popular. If you made it more of an rpg what is the point of not just logging into wynncraft instead?
I just want them to add more abilities to the game, and some sort of ability from skill progression would be pretty cool. An example is if you get alchemy up to a certain level, you can learn how to brew elixirs that are just as good as god pots, but are more focused on one thing, like combat, mining, or skill grinding.
Well I mean if you ever play any RPG that's pretty much what healers do they heal they buff and debuff and they are the most feared and annoying thing on any team like if you ever sees anyone playing RPG or if you play one yourself you'll notice that the second you see in enemy that can heal or if you see your healer in danger you're going to do whatever you can either to get rid of them first before they can do anything or literally give your life and soul for them cuz they are the lifeblood of your team and also since I'm on my rent tanks are not really tanks they are walls which have completely different functions walls are slightly similar to tanks where they are slow and they have really high health and defense but that's about it walls are just there to draw attention to themselves and debuff the enemy they do not hit hard they are just there to just draw attention and look pretty while doing it while tanks go up to enemies face and smack them into the stratosphere it just takes them a bit before they could start going around smacking things again but when they're ready you better run or you will die I apologize for this paragraph of a comment I had to get this off my chest
yea, in and out of dungeons, cuz for dungeons its just people with archer setup and terms, and berserker is the only class out of dungeons, wanna do enderman, it don't take range or magic damage, I don't think blaze dose either.
I feel like the issue with healers is that it's easy to make it weak or overpowered and super hard to balance. If you remember lifesteal before the overhaul, yeah it's either that or this crap we have now. And how should the healing be done? In a slower team mmo healers need to decide who to heal and when, but skyblock it's just brrrr and form a tether with the tank. Again here, introducing a new way of healing here could either be just pressing 1 button and team healing infinity health every second for 69s or timing wish correctly with scoreboard health updating once a second when people are getting hit 10 times a second. Admins went with the careful option which leaves healers weak. Werewolf armor is the only good, working healer concept they made for a fast paced game. Holy dragon armor won't cut it, the natural regen isn't enough. We need something before and after werewolf, and better healing helmets too
Some more healing items would also be nice, I would love to have so many that I have to choose which ones to use. The zombie swords, power orbs, and few other slight support/buffing items feels pretty bad when dealing with higher floors.

Also the comment is old and werewolf healing, although already niche, was nerfed to the ground, but dungeon healer helmets were changed for the mending stat, which scales with dungeon level and is very powerful at higher levels, worth over reaper mask which only doubles your likely base 100 mending
More weapon options for each stage of the game would be great, especially once the changes to starred items roll out whenever that's happening, classes already have pretty wonky progression gear wise and taking away what little options there already are for each stage of the game will make things even worse, and if the admins don't address it dungeons will be pretty bad imo. We can only hope the admins are aware of this and intend to introduce new weapons and gear to each floor
Although this might be a stretch, the healer could get a new ability to get a fraction of the perks (ex. the archer’s increased bow damage/ decreased melee damage) so that it buffs the class to be usable in lower level catacombs without making it too broken. If the admins wanted to, the ability can scale based on the level of their other classes, so it gives them the incentive to play other classes.
I think healer should be changed to just support (obviously a better name) like healing buffing damage and ability's. its sad cuz one of my co-op members is a healer and he cant do much
I like how healer is just another class with a mender helmet (of one of the three levels) because it means that I can swap between classes to go to another class if there is dupe healer/beserker/archer
I would love to see some gear similar to werewolf in dungeons for tanks. Make some gear that is tanky and encourages multi hitting and then combine it with some hp scaling weapons. Basically something to replace pooch and mastiff with a bit of combat stuff added in. Some basic stuff so that tanks can at least do okay at clearing weak mobs in the dungeon. Tanks shouldn't replace dps classes or whatever, but should at least be able to do something.

However, if you place something in front of the Hog Rider, the Hunter's splash will damage the Hog Rider and hit the card in front of it more. The Hog Rider in conjunction with the Freeze can surprise the opponent and allow the Hog Rider to deal much more damage than anticipated, especially if the opponent's go-to counter is a swarm, or swarms are their only effective counter to him. Skeletons and Bats will immediately be defeated by the spell, while Spear Goblins, Goblins, and Minions will be at low enough health to be defeated by a follow up Zap or Giant Snowball. However, this strategy isn't very effective against buildings as the Hog Rider will take a while to destroy the building, giving the opponent ample time to articulate another counter
When me and my friends started an iron Man co-op I played Arch and used a machine gun bow with the bow ability and the class ability double rapid fire was fun to use especially against many bosses but I agree that without a short bow clear is just not as good as mage
FOT clearing was actually the old M5 meta, and it'll be viable if swapping with the ability still works. AOTS is only good because it multiplies the swapped weapons dmg, so technically no terminator clearing will still be 'decent' . Nowhere near term, but still fast.
they fixed the archer problem kind of they added dragon shortbow which is easily obtainable in the end and it isnt half bad for the stage of the game its used for. They did make it harder to get juju bow tho
just a little bit of a healer gear guide because powliner doesn't want to basicly what you want to do copy is another class gear then slap it with a mender crown (or mender fedora if you are broke)
Admins never tested the new weapon before it comes out. When they find out the new weapon is broken, they just keep nerfing the stats of it. Or just completely kills it (bone thingy☠️)(rip☠️☠️) This is the main reason why only a few weapons in skyblock are worth using
Generally I think they do test stuff but sometimes it really feels like they just put some random stats on it and let the community decide how good it is, yeah.
Mage does have some use in m7, an actually maxed Mage (gdrag chim5 claymore with 10 star everything max everything etc) can blood camp m7, and can aggro in boss, and does a near respectable amount to drags, or you can play fake Mage, which is using a term with a side order or sadness.
And um powliner about your berzerker learning swapping. You don’t have to do sword swapping because they do a lot of damage already and terminator is a m7 berserker set up.
I’d just like to say this is a video I was hoping would get made for awhile because dungeons do feel stale. recently I’ve changed my setup to healer but it’s kinda hard since your only option realistically is a tank with mender crown or werewolf which I keep throwing money at but it hasn’t worked because it’s werewolf and it’s incredibly underwhelming in dungeons due to lack of useful stats u need to constantly find a way to buff and I know there’s mage but there should be more to a class than picking gear from one class and choosing healer if you read this great, if not I know it’s long keep in mind it’s just my opinion pls no hate.
The need to add more aoe weapons for most classes archer is fine with juju and term juju is a bit slower mage is still king in non master mode tanks should be able to do more damage in tank gear so maybe make an item that scales with ur defense as damage like warden helm but for tanks and healers should be a buffer giving everyone like x amount of int/str/def/cd for whatever class ur playing while still having wish maybe buff wish to make it so everyone deal 1.25x their damage for 10 seconds
bonemerang, spirit bow, death bow, last breath, super undead bow, undead bow, venom's touch, mosquito bow, spider queen stinger, souls rebound, and runaans bow are very good bows before juju
@@aditive3906 why dia head and not just goldor helmet at this point. tanks don't need dps in the bossfight anyways and goldor gives way more ehp than a dia head. (it even outclasses the reaper mask in ehp, but reaper mask does have double healing which is why it is so good)
Power creep always will exist and make late/end game players much more OP. I think term is the only solution for low cata players looking to do master mode (cata 34 - 40 doing m3 - m5), because by the time they update dungeons, the people now at cata 24 - 34 will be at 34 - 40 when dungeons update hits, and without an op weapon they will struggle, but the people now at cata like 34 - 40, will be at cata 42 - 48. And they can just buy the new weapon. So the only way to balance term is to keep it in the game permanently, else the people who use it now will gain cata xp so much faster than people who don't have it. I just got a term in mid/late February, I was cata 36, now in 1.5 months I'm already almost cata 43, by the time dungeons update comes I'll probably be cata 46 - 48 won't even need a term and can just buy the next OP item. Powercreep will always happen
although it will never happen, i would love to go back to pre eman update dungeon meta. mage, berz, and archer are equally good and take skill in swapping. although with some changes to make swapping a feature and less broken
while i do agree that archer is t really viable unless you have a juju or term, there are still some decent alternatives before the juju, such as a venom's touch, and bonemerang, which was mentioned, but not good unless you have like 5 of them
I think a sick idea for tank weapons could work like made weapons where they do more damage on how much intelligence you have but it could go off of ur ehp or ur deff or health
I think I would argue that Mage doesn't have a great progression either; it's basically up to Spirit Sceptre, then you're locked in and stuck on f6 because the next actual weapon is just the hyperion, which is like more than 900m more expensive. The concept is basically that if you don't have hyperion, you just don't get accepted into f7 parties. Often, you have to switch classes temporarily until you can afford the hyp.
I think the dark claymore was a really good idea for end-game berserker, but the admins just killed it. Adding the longsword weapon was creative. All it needs is a unique weapon ability and balancing along with maybe a drop chance raise, and it would be a viable option for end-game bers. They should also change how soul eater buffs juju/term and balance juju and term. They should also add a weapon which heals a certain amount around you every time you hit or maybe a certain amount of damage.

healer should get an ability like zenyatta from overwatch, where you could place a reduce damage or reduce defence on an enemy, and a plus damage or healing orb on your team
to be honest, i disagree that bers has decent progression in the very early game. your first real option is a super cleaver, and it can't even be starred until f3 because that's the first time you can even get gold essence (zombie knights and king midas) unless you somehow grind to cata 20 before doing f3 and buy it if you're non-ironman. furthermore, bers needing to be so up close to even deal damage with barely any clearing potential sucks early on unless you bring a bow (which i'm pretty sure bers is not designed to clear with a bow, but terminator sure does exist huh) personally i think bers should get like a +1 or +2 block range class passive but get -25-30% arrow damage, along with an innate cleave ability and an actual bers designed dungeon sword that can be starred before f3 (seriously why does every other ophelia shop item take undead essence except the cleavers what the hell) i mean bers is still kinda ehh after f3 but at least bers has hyper cleaver which can be starred (which actually i like, as that is perfect for the f4 boss fight considering the cleave ability), but in reality there isn't a good single target true dungeon weapon until f5 for bers
Just make all regular bows (not shortbows) have 4x DMG or something (it can be 10x for all I care, I'm not a game dev) and can pierce instead of keeping them useless by adding more shortbow options.
I'm a dedicated *melee* berserk, but everything about higher floor dungeons just breaks me. Currently I'm using valk + aots swap but I already noticed that I suck too much to use this in master mode and it wouldn't really be worth practicing because it would still not replace a terminator. Another thing that I began to hate with a passion is how mindlessly people adapt the "no dupe arch" mantra. They legitimately refuse to go dupe arch, even if I'm 10 cata levels ahead and solo bers would double my damage. It feels like they think "solo arch" means "infinite damage".
Confirmed, thats why i haye arch litterally i join a "no dupe" party, when other arch joins they get kicked (saw a lvl 35 getting kicked by lvl 19) and then when a bers joins (I am bers) that dude ignores it and just starts the floor
I think terminator and juju are still the clear weapon for mm just trash for normal catacomb, since most of the damage come from soul eater, the hardest part is to kill the first mob and it can clear very well, just no in the boss fight You just lose a few million of damage in mm while u deal hundreds of million damage
@@larfee5191 in normal catacomb soul eater dont give you a lot of damage but that is 2/3 of the damage and the damage sucks in normal catacomb going around 6-20m

I just thought about healer.. What if they add healing reduction to nerf healing in gerneral and give healer a new healing ability (true healing) th is not effected by healing reduction. So having a healer is important to out heal the damage. Also give him 1-50 (based on healer level) speed for every player in a 0-100 blocks radius (this speed buff is not effected by the speed limit) So a healer also speed up the run.
It still doesn't fix the issue of Healer being boring, only Speed won't fix that. And nerfing healing in general would be very bad because it's not like healing is broken right now. It's kind of needed, waiting for manual regeneration is very slow

Runaans is amazing for super-early archer, its really good for how cheap it is and can carry up to f3 with good gear.

As an ironman f3 mage, the early game dungeons is so unbalanced.
Another thing about yeti and midas. The gold blocks will block your archer's arrows, I assume the same for yeti's ability so those are nil anyways.

I’d just like to say this is a video I was hoping would get made for awhile because dungeons do feel stale. recently I’ve changed my setup to healer but it’s kinda hard since your only option realistically is a tank with mender crown or werewolf which I keep throwing money at but it hasn’t worked because it’s werewolf and it’s incredibly underwhelming in dungeons due to lack of useful stats u need to constantly find a way to buff and I know there’s mage but there should be more to a class than picking gear from one class and choosing healer if you read this great, if not I know it’s long keep in mind it’s just my opinion pls no hate.
The need to add more aoe weapons for most classes archer is fine with juju and term juju is a bit slower mage is still king in non master mode tanks should be able to do more damage in tank gear so maybe make an item that scales with ur defense as damage like warden helm but for tanks and healers should be a buffer giving everyone like x amount of int/str/def/cd for whatever class ur playing while still having wish maybe buff wish to make it so everyone deal 1.25x their damage for 10 seconds
I think that's a feature they should add to long swords, or an ability

@@aditive3906 why dia head and not just goldor helmet at this point. tanks don't need dps in the bossfight anyways and goldor gives way more ehp than a dia head. (it even outclasses the reaper mask in ehp, but reaper mask does have double healing which is why it is so good)

Power creep always will exist and make late/end game players much more OP. I think term is the only solution for low cata players looking to do master mode (cata 34 - 40 doing m3 - m5), because by the time they update dungeons, the people now at cata 24 - 34 will be at 34 - 40 when dungeons update hits, and without an op weapon they will struggle, but the people now at cata like 34 - 40, will be at cata 42 - 48. And they can just buy the new weapon. So the only way to balance term is to keep it in the game permanently, else the people who use it now will gain cata xp so much faster than people who don't have it. I just got a term in mid/late February, I was cata 36, now in 1.5 months I'm already almost cata 43, by the time dungeons update comes I'll probably be cata 46 - 48 won't even need a term and can just buy the next OP item. Powercreep will always happen

while i do agree that archer is t really viable unless you have a juju or term, there are still some decent alternatives before the juju, such as a venom's touch, and bonemerang, which was mentioned, but not good unless you have like 5 of them

I think I would argue that Mage doesn't have a great progression either; it's basically up to Spirit Sceptre, then you're locked in and stuck on f6 because the next actual weapon is just the hyperion, which is like more than 900m more expensive. The concept is basically that if you don't have hyperion, you just don't get accepted into f7 parties. Often, you have to switch classes temporarily until you can afford the hyp.
fr, and how are u suppose to get a hype if u get kicked from f7 parties (ah is pricey af)

I think the dark claymore was a really good idea for end-game berserker, but the admins just killed it. Adding the longsword weapon was creative. All it needs is a unique weapon ability and balancing along with maybe a drop chance raise, and it would be a viable option for end-game bers. They should also change how soul eater buffs juju/term and balance juju and term. They should also add a weapon which heals a certain amount around you every time you hit or maybe a certain amount of damage.

I think for a normal bow to work in dungeons it would need to have high pierce and for aiming to be a thing on it so it would clear kind of like a better FoT
its sad they will probably nerf term and me who started playing just to try that feeling of spamming with a term will never have the chance of using it. also if they do it rip to every person trying to get to cata 50

healer should get an ability like zenyatta from overwatch, where you could place a reduce damage or reduce defence on an enemy, and a plus damage or healing orb on your team
they really need to make more shortbows. like they can cap the atk speed but like please i dont want to remember my times clearing with a spirit bow
to be honest, i disagree that bers has decent progression in the very early game. your first real option is a super cleaver, and it can't even be starred until f3 because that's the first time you can even get gold essence (zombie knights and king midas) unless you somehow grind to cata 20 before doing f3 and buy it if you're non-ironman. furthermore, bers needing to be so up close to even deal damage with barely any clearing potential sucks early on unless you bring a bow (which i'm pretty sure bers is not designed to clear with a bow, but terminator sure does exist huh)
personally i think bers should get like a +1 or +2 block range class passive but get -25-30% arrow damage, along with an innate cleave ability and an actual bers designed dungeon sword that can be starred before f3 (seriously why does every other ophelia shop item take undead essence except the cleavers what the hell)
i mean bers is still kinda ehh after f3 but at least bers has hyper cleaver which can be starred (which actually i like, as that is perfect for the f4 boss fight considering the cleave ability), but in reality there isn't a good single target true dungeon weapon until f5 for bers

Just make all regular bows (not shortbows) have 4x DMG or something (it can be 10x for all I care, I'm not a game dev) and can pierce instead of keeping them useless by adding more shortbow options.
I'm pretty sure they'd still be awful sadly. Normal bows in Dungeons just can't work

I'm a dedicated *melee* berserk, but everything about higher floor dungeons just breaks me.
Currently I'm using valk + aots swap but I already noticed that I suck too much to use this in master mode and it wouldn't really be worth practicing because it would still not replace a terminator.
Another thing that I began to hate with a passion is how mindlessly people adapt the "no dupe arch" mantra.
They legitimately refuse to go dupe arch, even if I'm 10 cata levels ahead and solo bers would double my damage. It feels like they think "solo arch" means "infinite damage".
Confirmed, thats why i haye arch litterally i join a "no dupe" party, when other arch joins they get kicked (saw a lvl 35 getting kicked by lvl 19) and then when a bers joins (I am bers) that dude ignores it and just starts the floor
true bers isnt even viable in m6 and i tried so hard to make it work but nothing can ever beat term (so we need to nerf it into the ground)
I think terminator and juju are still the clear weapon for mm just trash for normal catacomb, since most of the damage come from soul eater, the hardest part is to kill the first mob and it can clear very well, just no in the boss fight

@@larfee5191 in normal catacomb soul eater dont give you a lot of damage but that is 2/3 of the damage and the damage sucks in normal catacomb going around 6-20m

this was good bc they added new weapons like felthron reaper and the cheaper version of it I forgot bc nobody will spend 10mil on a sword worse than a clean aotd and bouquet of lies which is good if your super poor if u somehow have necron armor. also mage has like bad weapon progression it goes like 5mil - 18mil - 1bil at least bers is like 8mil - 70mil - 150mil - 250mil

What if they add healing reduction to nerf healing in gerneral and give healer a new healing ability (true healing) th is not effected by healing reduction. So having a healer is important to out heal the damage. Also give him 1-50 (based on healer level) speed for every player in a 0-100 blocks radius (this speed buff is not effected by the speed limit)
So a healer also speed up the run.
It still doesn't fix the issue of Healer being boring, only Speed won't fix that. And nerfing healing in general would be very bad because it's not like healing is broken right now. It's kind of needed, waiting for manual regeneration is very slow
