The thing I loved most about this show was how it felt infinitely more intimate than any of the other shows I have seen them play. Give us that timeless King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard: Unplugged bootleg we all want
im just trying to picture an acoustic version of Supercell. idk if it'd really hit as good in acoustic. but hey, it's king gizz. if anyone could do it, it's them.
i swear, king gizz has some kind of black magic (witchcraft even). how on earth are they so good at literally every type of music?! they managed to make a heavy metal song into an acoustic song and it still sounds as good as the og.
I’m from Detroit originally, but I just couldn’t see me at the acoustic sets at night…. So I won’t see the acoustic sets this tour… I will be attending the 3 hour shows in NYC and 2 of the 3 shows in Red Rocks… all my first time seeing KGLW…. So excited
Earlier this tour an audience member handed them a CD outside a venue which had folk covers of Gizz songs on it, one of which was Witchcraft - so they thanked them as they were also at Brighton and chose to stick it on the end of the setlist
Your lord lets you have the day off from toiling the fields so you go down to the village to see the traveling bards play and they break out this song
Me after hitting the medieval doink

would have been hilarious if cavs went full metal drums on that lol
i'd totally have been down for that, lol.
Now it's sounds like a Polygondwanaland tune. I'm loving it !
really does lmao
They are in the same tuning

Live in Brisbane '21 is exactly what you're looking for
@@whothehellisthat281 that is exactly what I was looking for.
a full acoustic version of petrodragonic apocalypse would be so cool

Agreed, I'm surprised how well this translates to acoustic.

They went to music school. They don’t limit themselves to a single shit genre.
@@Parker-iz7vw they went to music school, for music industry iirc, which is actually more interesting imo
Cool to see them cover one of Bennie's covers (:
hell yeah
Yeah they loved those covers fr
Almost sounds like a song off of Poly without the electric guitars. Wow I am hype for tour see you all there!

This is the folk cover they are talking about.
Bennie did some magic with their covers fr
Beautiful arrangement for this comp. Love how they adapted the guitar melodies to suit the acoustic vibe. 🤴🐔🦎🧙♂️
i hope they bootleg an acoustic set one day.. this sounds so sick
Brisbane ‘21
The brisbane 2021 bootleg is an acoustic set

Get yourself in that Mosh Pit and start the addiction.
Any reason you don't want to? I have been debating on a shorter drive to Detroit or longer to Cleveland.
crazy, I love it
Incredible performance
There is nothing this band can’t do
Psychedelic Shape Shifters
The better play The Silver Cord at the next acoustic show
I love King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard😍😍😍
This is sick as hell!
thanks for sharing!!! :)
Thank you!,,
they must've seen that folk cover and decided to play one themselves
Confirmed they did and loved it
What was the context of the audience callout at the beginning?
Earlier this tour an audience member handed them a CD outside a venue which had folk covers of Gizz songs on it, one of which was Witchcraft - so they thanked them as they were also at Brighton and chose to stick it on the end of the setlist
Omg! I think i've seen their videos before. That's so cool! @@KoizuCH
@@evanrman8048 its @Bennie420 's cover they were referencing pretty sure
the original cover is by stacker on youtube !
3:40 "Chingón"
"The tricky part"
the clapping :(
So miserably out of sync 😂
they tried :')
Admittedly, a lot of them were hazed out of their mind by the end of the set so I can't blame them
I like that they stopped clapping once it reached the part they would've actually been relatively on beat
