A Rep. Anthropology covers culture among many other things, he said he is director of user experience which is technically cultural. How society and the users may find the applications of certain technologies and the understanding and impact of, similar to how a human relations department works. So he was not being a dumbass.
Is this guy confusing intel with technology? What the hell? A professor at Stanford? I realize the Stanford campus is hostile to the Defense community but they should at least know the basics of what it is? They should at least know what intel is!
