wow those coaches are so good calling off a match for good money to ccare about the players more is what other coaches need to do i really hope TH wins this year
It really isn’t. Remember back in high school how you’re trying to take a math test and this one kid who’s sick keeps sniffling every 5 seconds and it becomes annoying af? Well imagine that, but instead you’re in a high pressure environment, you’re sitting at your computer for at least 3+ hours and you’re supposed to give your best. Let them rest and recover.
Alright buddy what 😭 Whether you want to admit it or not these guys are professionals and the level they play at is no joke. 2 players sick on their team is unavoidable, they can't sub in a coach and their 6th, they'd rather forfeit. If you have a cold your reaction time significantly increases and your ability to stay calm in pressured environments and to give comms is just horrible. They are more than entitled to forfeitting for such reasons; staying healthy is important whether or not it's digital sports or physical sports.
Yes, it does. When your reaction time is significantly delayed, ability to comprehend and calculate the best decision is clouded, subconscious fear of letting your team down in a competitive setting DUE to your illness, yes even esports players perform significantly worse with a cold. They’re not playing ranked where everyone is average, they’re playing where every single person is trying to get .1% better than the rest so they can win. Try to think a little, would you?
