Allow me to blow your mind further. First, the explosion at the beginning of the video, the falling floor, the fire, and the water coming from the vents are not CGI. They were REAL! Second, this MV actually has a lot of hidden clues (the candy, the flower, the glowing phones plastered to the walls, the fire, the water, coat hangers, hooded figure) that give ARMY hints to the story line the boys have going for a few years now. I'm glad you like The MV and the song 😊 I think you should see them perform it live in the 2018 Melon Music Awards. PS Yoongi aka Suga, the guy whose verse in Boy With Luv you wanted to be a bit faster used to be an underground rapper and can SPIT BARS. RM was an underground rapper before joining BTS, too. That's why they know a lot about song writing and music production. If you have time, please check out Who is BTS: The Seven Members of Bangtan to get to know them more 😊 PPS. PAUSE AWAY! I actually appreciate it more when I can hear your thoughts. We watch you for your reactions and not to watch the video again. 😊
It's okay if you pause to talk about certain things ! Many of us like it because people tend to miss a lot of details in the videos when they talk over without pausing haha 🤗 Pls react to Who is BTS?: The Seven Members of Bangtan (INTRODUCTION) !! and you can check out some crack videos of them once you're familiar with their faces and names :D Their personalities are also a big part of why they have such a big fanbase ! So, all of those visual you liked were done with practical effects! The fire, the water, the floors falling behind him, that all happened in those scenes. Please watch Dope next, the choreography is the sickest thing ever Also fyi, Fake Love is the latest installment in a long series of music videos with a connected story called the BU (Bangtan Universe). These videos tell a complicated story about a friend group torn apart by suicide, mental illness, and terrible accidents, and a guy who just wants to see his friends happy again. There's a lot of fan theories on what the true story is, from time traveling to just identifying who's actually alive or dead. The visuals are shared between the videos and the timeline is super confusing, but the imagery and symbolism is a feat of film-making. You picked up on a lot of the symbolism in this one, so you'd probably enjoy piecing together the rest of it.
Loved the reaction! I know people complain about the pausing but I personally prefer it, because its your actual thoughts at the moment. Instead of watching the entire thing and only mentioning a few parts that you remember, reacting in the moment is more fun. For suggestions, I would suggest Blood, Sweat & Tears, Fire or Run. Hope you like them!

We prefer that you pause and react instead of talking and missing something - trust me, I speak for the group on this. I'm relatively new to the fandom but I will point this out. The new album that came out doesn't seem (to me) to tie into the past story lines. Many of the mv's are all through one story line. You won't be able to analyze it because it is so tied in to other videos, album notes, the webtoon, etc... That being said, every video is epic and is a real cinematic experience. I appreciated the your background in making observations about the creation of certain aspects - that was really unique. dunno if someones already said this about ur comment on Suga's verse in Boy With Luv but honestly it shook a lot of us coz yes, he is usually the one with the hard hitting rap verse. Dude yes this choreo is actually INSANE. Watch the dance practice, it's crazy fast. And the fact that they can sing this high pitched while dancing to this choreo live is just mind baffling.

This is the first BTS MV I ever watched on December, just because it appeared on the corner as suggestion from TH-cam. I said, "Ok, let's see, whatever". You can imagine... I'm now showing the vids to my entire family every weekend and talking about it with friends when we meet, and I'm 32. Sometimes they look at me like I'm crazy. I don't care. I just enjoy their content so much. I do appreciate good music and they are next level awesome, pretty much unreachable at this point. Lately I am obsessed with the "Persona" track by RM. It's the jam for this time of my life. :D
BTS used more than 105 genres in their musics, they do all styles of music, and they have genius lyrics with a lot of Korean world plays, cultural, litteratur and mythological references, and they talk about things like social issues, mental health, self love, anxiety, depression...ECT That's why they are very popular, they are multitalented and they are perfect in every aspect, even their personalities, they are very humble people.
Please react to Who is BTS . It introduces the guys one by one and you get an understanding of them. After that I suggest DNA , Not Today then Blood Sweat and Tears Idol for the visual effects and Mic Drop after that. You will get an idea of how different each video is.
TH-cam kept suggesting your videos and I was reticent in checking them out because of the exaggerated thumbnails, but I'm currently checking out your BTS videos and I really like your reactions so I'm subscribing. Good luck with your channel!
Theirs a reason for suga going slow on his verse & it sounds a bit off too. Watch the explanation for Boy with Luv to understand. Theirs also a reason for Halsey’s voice not being silenced on the MV in parts where she’s clearly singing in the video. U’ll see it’s pretty dope. If u listen to the audio version & the MV version u’ll year it
The song itself is about FAKE LOVE to themselves, and fake love from others. it's about wearing the mask and being not able to show your real face, and pretend in front of others that you love yourself, when in reality, in J-HOPE verse, he's looking in a mirror and asking - who are you?, as well as RM. there is a lot of deep meaning behind the visuals and the lyrics itself that you didn't notice, however, I do love your genuine reaction, it's so cute when you get excited and it feels relatable. but I would highly suggest to look for this song theories and real meaning on internet, because I'm sure it will make a lot of sense not only about what was happening in MV, but you will for sure like the song even more because of its deep beautiful meaning. they always spread the message: LOVE YOURSELF and it makes my heart squishy. this is my favourite song of BTS, because the meaning is very powerful and relatable. also, I want to point out the choreography, the way they move their bodies and arms represents puppets, the dolls that people are controling with strings. and they often form a heart with the movement of their hands, that represents love. they are trying to run away from this fake love, and saying that they are sick of it, but at the same time they say that they don't even know who they are in a first place in order to actually start loving themselves without wearing the pretentious masks. I can't get over your reactions, it makes me happy to see someone who is excited about their music as much as I am. also, I do love when you pause the video, because we are all seen the MV ready and we want to hear your thoughts about it. it's good that that you stop the video when you are saying something, because if you didn't, you would not focus on the song while you talk and would probably miss a lot of important parts of the song. it's lovely to see your appreciation towards the effort that they are putting into visuals, money, music, lyrics, clothing and everything else! one more thing, you may notice that in all of their music videos, they match their outfits with the background, and if background changes their outfits changes as well to fit the background. I have already watched all of your reactions with BTS and I can tell it's not enough for me, I want more ! please react to more of BTS songs
The way you talk about the film stuff leads me to believe you would really appreciate their song DOPE. The camera work is phenomenal and I've watched film-makers react to it and they constantly are like "WOW. WOOOW." It's very innovative how it's shot and how they move around a relatively small set. Please keep reacting to these guys. You won't be disappointed, I promise.
Also, because I can't see that anyone's mentioned it, this video is great just superficially but it's also so deep and layered and there are literally (LITERALLY) dozens of symbols in the video that relate to their fictional storyline. The snickers, the rings hanging from RM's set in the train cars, the forest on the wall of the bathroom/dance studio, the phones on the wall, the text that says "Save Me" and "I'm Fine" (if you flip it around--both referring to titles of two related songs they wrote two years apart), Jungkook spying on everyone, the fire and water motifs, the circus equipment, the coat racks, the flower, the masked man...all of it is part of the Fictional Universe that they've been building since their debut video but didn't tell us about until their HYYH era nearly three years after their debut. haha. Welcome to the wonderful, devastating, creative, mind-blowing world of BTS...
Just so you know some or many fangirls like to pause when the chorus of fake love because he raises his shirt showing his abs Oh BTW that guy is RM the guy rapping with blue contacts While the guy during the sand scene is Jungkook
I see you inching closer and closer to the BTS rabbit hole! Can't wait til you're down here with the rest of us!!! Theories, knowing random info about each member, reacting to mixtapes, battling for concert tickets...all of it!!! 💜🔥
You can also watch the behind the scene of this music video on their bangtantv channel here on yt they don't use any CGI. The reaction was great! The pausing is alright we don't really mind. :)
All the background props are there for reasons. One example, the statue of hands symbolizes see, hear & speak no evil and they are mimicking this in their dance movements. Mound of chocolate representing Jhope's trauma that his mother abadoned him in amusement and last thing she gave to him is a chocolate bar from their story line. So as the water falls & fire and are also showing trauma of different members. BTS MVs always have endless details and even leaving some clues to their future albums.
Same to me, watched to of them - they are brilliant. Worked all night should be going to sleep but no, sit here and watch this guy and being super happy of his reactions.
Nice video. You are that kind of reactor that knows how to apreciate art and talent 👏👏 Next time, you should react to "who is BTS? the seven memebers of Bangtan". You will get an introduction to all the members individually. Edit: I recommend you to watch the dance practice videos too. You will realise how coordinated and talented they are 😊
If you want to know all of their names and their personality, then def watching the Who Is BTS video is a good start....Thanks for your reaction, I can feel how genuinely you enjoyed that. And that makes an ARMY so proud lol
I love love the fact that you pause!! It lets us know that you are actually paying attention to the details if the video and I truly appreciate that!!!! Also, if you liked the pairing of camera work and choreo, definitely take a look at their “save me” MV. Its a one take video and i think you will really enjoy it 👍🏻
when you said that the floor falling down had a meaning and that is was incredible, litterally every thing in this mv means something, even when jimin is looking up or when the water come in, even when v's phone is turning in sand, even suga witch the fire or j-hope and the candies. Everything is related to the world of bts and there ficitonal story that has been going on since pretty much there debut. it's a really complex story that is told in multiple of there mv's, they leave hints everywhere, but we still don't get it xD. They created a web cartoon series called save me to tell the beggining of the story and explain it, but it just ended at episode 15 and it doesn't explain the whole story, i recommend you watching theories, it's really interesting but really mind fucking too xD
thank you for your honest reaction!! your excitement and energy is super contagious and endearing, i smiled the whole way through this - it’s really wonderful to see someone discover the joy and heart of bts for the first time! if you’re interested in the production side of things, i would highly recommend you react to the behind the scenes/making of for each music video you watch. the fake love one in particular is really interesting because it shows a lot of the practical effects that you were impressed by in the mv! it’s also a good opportunity to learn more about the members organically, as their personalities shine through a lot in the snippets you see of them filming. other than that, i would suggest spring day and/or blood sweat and tears next! blood sweat and tears has a very distinct and luxurious tone that also features impressive choreography and filmography, similar to fake love - i think you’d enjoy it! spring day is very different in tone to the songs you’ve reacted to thus far and is highly regarded not only in the fandom but in the k-music industry in general for being an incredibly heartfelt and genuine song regarding loss and longing; it’s an honest to god piece of art (and my personal favourite song of all time) that i think speaks to the heart of why bts are so beloved; they speak with empathy about personal and difficult stories that may help themselves and others cope with struggles in life. this got super long?? unintentionally HAHA sorry about that! anyway thank you again for your reactions and i hope you continue to enjoy getting to know bts! :)
11:04 when you flip it upside down the word 'Save me' becomes 'I'm fine' (you should also react to 'Save me' and I'm Fine'.) The falling floor, water and fire were all real. You can watch the behind the scene of their Mv fake love, it's lit! In their storyline J-hope was abandoned by his mother while he was still young, she left her on a carnival leaving him w/ a candy bar. That's the story behind those candy bars jhope was lying.
Just got to the part where you're talking about the impact the camera has. I suggest watching their video for Save Me. It's one long shot and the camera work is awesome!
For other beautiful music videos I have to agree with Blood Sweat and Tears, and Spring Day. Save Me is a one-take video so as a creator that might interest you (it is one of my favorite songs personally). I would also highly recommend the Who is BTS: The Seven Members of Bangtan video because it is kind of a crash course in the members - their names, backgrounds, etc. Since you did express an interest in knowing who they are.
"Blood, Sweat, & Tears", "Fire", "DNA", and "Save Me" are probably hitters for you based on what you liked from the last two. If you like J-Hope, then you might enjoy reacting to his solo song, "Boy Meets Evil", or any of his songs from his mixtape. All the videos are visually engaging but Boy Meets Evil focuses a lot on his dance skills. Thank you for giving them a listen and I hope you find more that you like
okay, so you are definitely a rapline fan in the making. you are gonna love the entire back catalogue. i get so excited for new ARMYs, it's so addicting to see !
Pause as much as you want. I actually prefer it when reactors pause cause they can properly appreciate what's going on and discuss it without missing other stuff in the video. Also I was waiting fo the interlude (?) the whole time, I knew you'd love it!
"There's no way they're playing with fire in this video man!" *Me sitting in the dark laughing to myself thinking about Yoongi's scene:* you're in a for a treat boy😂
He was very surprised when he saw the fire in suga's room and said "there is no way they play with fire in this video" lol bro there is a whole mv they just play with fire in it😂💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Fake Love choreography is my favorite from them. If you watch the dance practice, you'll be even more mesmerized believe me. It's so beautiful. Also, my biases also RM and JHope lol
I just discovered your BTS reactions & I love it! *liked & subscribed* What I like most about BTS is that everything has a reason and a story behind it. When you first look at them, on the surface they sing catchy songs combined with awesome dance moves and visually striking mvs. But the more you learn about them and their music, the more you find out that almost everything in their lyrics & things that looks insignificant or don't make sense in their mvs have deeper meaning. For example, from this mv.... the guy laying on a pile of snickers (funny at first, but so sad when you find out the meaning behind it), or the guy sitting in front of the fire, the guy standing near the wall when the water pours out from the windows next to him, the guy trying to protect the flower from the explosion..., heck, the guy closing the window curtain! They're all connected to an alternate universe; a fictional storyline that weaves through a series of BTS' music videos in which each member of the band has their own character. Although you only do mv reaction, I also think you should react to "who is BTS" video. As far as mvs go, I love 'blood sweat & tears', 'save me', 'airplane pt.2' & 'mic drop'..but honestly, all their mvs are good! Their live performances are amazing too, as well as their dance practices. :)
Is it possible to get bias wrecked by your bias? Cause, DAMN. I almost forgot how much I LOVE Taehyung with black hair an a mullet. Big hit GIVE ME THAT BACK.
I love the wings album the most because is the album full of theories in general is like A WHOLE ENGLISH BOOK FULL OF POEMS THAT ARE HARD TO FIGURE and I love it
Pretty sure everyone already told you that there's no CGI in this, but there's also a behind the scenes video where you can see them do some of the effects!!
This music video is one of the last video's that are part of a long series from the last 4 albums from the Love Yourself Albums. They created a storyline with clues hidden in the videos and an entire group of theorists began on U tube. Later a webtoon was developed. We are now moving into their next series of albums. I don't know if they will create a new MV Storyline or not, but the Producers that created the dozen or so music videos that started us watching over and over looking for clues were genius! By the way RM is more than a genius. His IQ is 148 and he tested out in the top 1% in Korea. He writes alot of the lyrics. J Hope was a street dancer for 10 years and often instructs the other members learning a new dance. Sugs the other rapper is very involved in the music production. They all have special talents and it would help you to know them by watching some of their history, even if you do it yourself, though I am enjoying watching you as a newbie. I suggest since your into videography, you would like"Not Today". For great dancing, I like "Dope". It's an oldie, but also a goodie. B 4 they had alot of $. They started very poor, all sleeping in one small room. There early music videos show great creativity without a big budget. Danger, Run are a couple...In 8 years they have worked very hard and there is alot of content. Unlike many other Kpop groups, over time their producer gave them more and more freedom to create and produce their own music. I think that is part of why they stand out. The other part is that before they debuted and to this day they have shared their hearts and minds on copious social media. You must get to know them at sometime to understand where they are coming from. Sorry this is soooooo long.
Hi! I can see that you are drawn to the 3 rappers. So I am sure you would enjoy the rappers song, Outro:Tear, its an amazing rapping from all of them! No mv sadly, check the lyrics video to know what they are saying, lyrics are important!

It's real fire, real water, everything is real (including that falling floor at JK scene).
IDOL MV is gonna explode your mind!
oooooooh I love that you're studying video effects and stuff because you will LOVEEEEE all of BTS's music videos!!!
Just so you know some or many fangirls like to pause when the chorus of fake love because he raises his shirt showing his abs
Oh BTW that guy is RM the guy rapping with blue contacts
While the guy during the sand scene is Jungkook
The cinematography in Blood Sweat and Tears is excellent!
You're gonna LOVE the camerawork on live performances in KPOP.
I love that you love this Fake Love.
I see you inching closer and closer to the BTS rabbit hole! Can't wait til you're down here with the rest of us!!! Theories, knowing random info about each member, reacting to mixtapes, battling for concert tickets...all of it!!! 💜🔥
OMG a fellow i-dle stan!
You can also watch the behind the scene of this music video on their bangtantv channel here on yt they don't use any CGI. The reaction was great! The pausing is alright we don't really mind. :)
dude i love how you pay attention to the visuals YES COLOUR GRADING
All the background props are there for reasons. One example, the statue of hands symbolizes see, hear & speak no evil and they are mimicking this in their dance movements. Mound of chocolate representing Jhope's trauma that his mother abadoned him in amusement and last thing she gave to him is a chocolate bar from their story line. So as the water falls & fire and are also showing trauma of different members. BTS MVs always have endless details and even leaving some clues to their future albums.
V's vocals at the beginning literally killed me
You are becoming one of my top favorite reactors and I've only seen 3 reactions so far. Wow, loving it. 😎😄
Same to me, watched to of them - they are brilliant. Worked all night should be going to sleep but no, sit here and watch this guy and being super happy of his reactions.
It's okay to pause more and talk. We all have watch the video before but just come to watch your reaction!! You are so cute when u get excited!!
Nice video. You are that kind of reactor that knows how to apreciate art and talent 👏👏
Next time, you should react to "who is BTS? the seven memebers of Bangtan".
Its a one take video and i think you will really enjoy it 👍🏻
Welcome to BTS. I swear you will soon find yourself in a rabbit hole of BTS. Good luck!
when you said that the floor falling down had a meaning and that is was incredible, litterally every thing in this mv means something, even when jimin is looking up or when the water come in, even when v's phone is turning in sand, even suga witch the fire or j-hope and the candies.
BTS has long story line that connected from very first album till now on going... so nothing is random.
Blood sweat and tears... awesome MV
i actually love how much you analyze every visual aspect, someone who appreciates a pure artistic masterpiece
Thank you for giving them a listen and I hope you find more that you like
i watched a lot of youtuber react to BTS, but this is the only one that i really love and can relate to!
Blood sweat & Tears Pleaseee
okay, so you are definitely a rapline fan in the making. you are gonna love the entire back catalogue. i get so excited for new ARMYs, it's so addicting to see !
Pause as much as you want. I actually prefer it when reactors pause cause they can properly appreciate what's going on and discuss it without missing other stuff in the video. Also I was waiting fo the interlude (?) the whole time, I knew you'd love it!
"There's no way they're playing with fire in this video man!"
*Me sitting in the dark laughing to myself thinking about Yoongi's scene:* you're in a for a treat boy😂
I am adicted to v vocal 😍😍😍😍
Thank u for appreciating his vocals..😍😍
You have a genuine reaction. You just gained a subscriber 💜
I just discovered your BTS reactions & I love it! *liked & subscribed*
What I like most about BTS is that everything has a reason and a story behind it.
You are a gentleman and a scholar!!!!
Is it possible to get bias wrecked by your bias? Cause, DAMN. I almost forgot how much I LOVE Taehyung with black hair an a mullet. Big hit GIVE ME THAT BACK.
You should see the kbs festival live ver of this song . It was A M A Z I N G
I love the wings album the most because is the album full of theories in general is like A WHOLE ENGLISH BOOK FULL OF POEMS THAT ARE HARD TO FIGURE and I love it
ur my favorite reaction channel because I love hearing your input & your genuine reactions! Don’t apologize
And to know that all of that is real and isn't just effects😍❤
Yes! Watch Who is BTS the Seven Members of Bangtan. You will be so happy you did
Pretty sure everyone already told you that there's no CGI in this, but there's also a behind the scenes video where you can see them do some of the effects!!
Really enjoyed your reaction! Can’t wait to see what other BTS vids you react to!!!
You can pause as much as you want. I love your commentary
"oooooh" yeah, you just got some Suga, lol!
BTS from nobodies to legend pt2
Wooooooohoo! It's a blast to watch your reactions! I love your appreciation of the production and choreo. Definitely check out their MV production videos so you can see some of how they make the vids.
Thanks for reacting to fake love, love your reaction! 😊
you definitely need to watch the intro to bts or who is bts so that youll understand their lyrics more.. You see, they write their own stories through their music..
Aaah obrigada por esse vídeo !!! Amo as suas reações 💙💙💙💙

The words written on the wall "save me" is "i'm fine" upside down. Just something to see. 😊
We don't hate you for pausing the video. Don't worry. That's mean you're pay attention or stop to appreciate or have something to say about them. It's good thing. Thanks for choose to react to BTS. please do more and turn on the subtitles. Their lyrics are something. I recommend blood, sweat and tears.
