I'll give you one tip for this one. Please use the PVC cement glue for gluing the Valves. Also, upper valve is not really needed, Just connecting pipe glued with CPVC glue going in from top.
Great DIY, thanks! Have you had any issues so far? I made a plastic version about a year ago and it's been working well but I'm getting all the bits together to make one of these for a new 20l tank. The ADA style is much nicer :)
@@fishtorque1125 hmm odd, I've got the exact same pump and it's really quiet. I can hardly hear it. When I first start the pump, I get a rush of air for about 20 seconds and then it's pretty silent after that 🤔
@@fishtorque1125 Yeah, I bought a couple off eBay and they look identical to yours. I made one modification also since my last message because I started to get some air inside the canister (which made it a little noisier) and when the pump was switched off, after about 5 minutes or so the pressure inside the canister would cause it to slowly leak around the rim. I bought an o ring and applied some silicone grease to create a tighter seal, links below: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Decdeal-Ultra-quiet-USB-DC5V-4-8W-300L-H-Brushless-Water-Pump-Waterproof-K8E5-/363095106342?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292 sourcingmap Silicone O-Ring, 75mm... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07CVJMDRF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Next time use gravity to help with the inlet then have the outlet pump out from the bottom up. The pressure that builds causes joints to leak. Picture drinking from a straw u drink from the bottom of the cup.

Hi mate glad you liked the video. No I haven't at all only thing I'd say is the pump rather noisy but it might just be the brand

De que tamaño tiene que ser el contenedor para 100 litros de agua para mi acuario
Bro, I just made something with also the exact same things, even the same pump and Isosteel container. I used a insulated Jar from my local Walmart
I was even thinking to silicone the hole too 😂. I was missing the teflon tape but dang is this incredible similar.
😂 How are you finding it?
what mm for the tube elbow?
Incredible!!! Where did you buy this Thermo?
From IKEA

Ur right tested multiple times with such dc brushless pump at the top but got failed while at the bottom the pump was doing better
@@zurichscorpian yeah, if pump was on top, the pump never gott enough of water so alwys make noice and air bummble
can you tell me why you diodnt just do away with one of the two lids and kept on using it?
Because the top one didn't have a vacuum seal and the other one looked odd
thanks mate.
Thank you :)
My pleasure another diy build coming this week!
