Damn, it seems I found this golden channel a bit too late. Not really, his teachings are valid anytime you watch this... :)
I really hope Mr. Olav is all good and enjoying life. I will binge watch all I can from this channel... in the meanwhile I´ll hope for the best for Olav to be back some day.
Olaf, your channel is one of only a handful of photography channels on TH-cam that I find is truly worth the time. Great advice supported by great photography.
Your videos are always a perfect opportunity for me to learn, Olaf. And I enjoy your style of photography every time I watch a clip from you, it's always a pleasure. I hope you keep on doing this! Best wishes for the near future, I guess it's not too easy for a photographer in these days...
Bam! Straight to the point.... great advice. Very refreshing in the sea of gear oriented TH-cam videos actually some real practical advice for all. Bravo
I was just wondering the same thing. I hope he made through the pandemic.
hi olaf, longtime no update..
This channel has the best secrets
Where have you been? I miss your videos.
"Respect your viewer" - great advice, Olaf. Perhaps we need some guidance on how to choose the best photographs. As photographers we make for poor photo editors.
i can't fully understand what you said. But the images are very wonderful, and video too.thanks olaf.
Hi Olaf, it's been almost a year since you uploaded your last video. Are you ok? We do miss your expertise
I truly appreciate your kind comment. I have been very busy with our publications. I should be able to record another video shortly.
hi olaf - i love your ideas and thoughts how to make this crazy world stunningly original by your eye. really beautiful. stay well . i'm still locked up but try your ideas with shadows and mirrors, very small space. thanks for your videos
More thought-provoking content and impressive images, Olaf. Very enjoyable. That said, I actually came here to talk about your set. I notice it every time I watch a video that was shot here and, despite being used to it, I find my thoughts drifting to it as I'm watching. I notice how perfectly lined up the camera is with the table. Everything is perfectly symmetrical. Nice attention to detail. I also notice the partially-visible outlets for phone and power-particularly the electrical outlet. It totally triggers my OCD. Why are you showing it, I wonder. But, more than anything, I notice the high camera position. It's different and, if I'm being honest, a bit of a distraction. I catch myself speculating about why you've chosen it. Is there something displayed higher on the wall that would ruin the minimalism of the set? Is this a small room and the camera is sitting on top of a piece of furniture? Or have you just chosen it because it is different? How did you arrive at your set design?
Olaf, thank you for the video. for photos of ivse, which is called the street. I have a question: what camera settings do you use when shooting in black and white? I myself am passionate about street photography and have been using Fujifilm X20 for a long time
What happened to this guy and this channel?
Where did you go Olaf? We all miss your content and want more.
