Saw and met Donny at The Basement East where this episode was filmed. Truly one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Seeing Donny’s bass playing in-person cannot be overhyped. Him and his band are easily one of the musically tightest I’ve ever witnessed. I’m usually a metal guy but his show was so much fun and a nice change of scenery for me.
Donny is a treasure and a true blue Australian hero. At first, I thought he was a novelty act, but the music overshadows the persona and he's such a chill guy in person!

I love Donny. When I first saw him I had no idea he was a bassist as he did the gig only with a synth. Seen him many times since both with his band and in the Dreamlanders. It’s always a good time with Donny.
A nice feature and glad he’s getting coverage. A bit breezy but it is after all a rig rundown. I’d like to hear more of his story, sometime, hear where he takes conversation and his narrative.
Donny, if you're reading this; try out an Ibanez BC10. Very nice bass chorus without loss of low-end. The filter/delay time is also much wider than your typical chorus pedals. Plus it's stereo if you want to get freaky. Cheers!
