Love the video! This will be my first year homeschooling my son in Georgia. I am excited but yet worried about organizing materials and curriculum. Thank you so much for sharing!
How exciting!! I know it's an overwhelming time, but just give yourself.l a grace period to figure it out and get the ropes! I have a whole homeschool tips playlist that I think you'd find encouragement and help in!
No way!! 😂😂 they're the bessssttt!!! That's awesome 😄 haha yes - the laminator isn't necessary, but I feel so capable with that thing in my back pocket! 😜
I bought mine planners last year but did not know how to implement them so they went unused. I loved getting a planner from school each year as well! This year I will have a 5th grader so I really want her to start using one to be more responsible for getting her work done. How do you suggest to start this?
Aw bummer! I had my son write down the lessons he watched/did each day and he would bring me his work to check after each subject and if the subject didn't require work, I would ask what he learned in that class. He's doing online video curriculums (Ron Paul curriculum, science shepherd & math-u-see), so it worked well for that. What curriculum are y'all using?
Thank you so much for watching! I'd love to know - do you use the kitchen table for homeschooling or a designated room?
Designated room ❤️🙏
@@lifewithginab Me too! It's such a wonderful space to have!
I love that once they reach 4th grade they have a planner. That's great!
It was a really good change for both of us this past year! Took some hand holding in the beginning, but it got better!

I love everything you listed! I definitely seeing me getting those drawers to organize the kids curriculum!
They're super useful for the lower grades to help them stay organized!!
Thank you for the organization ideas! I’ll have to look into several of those!
Yessss!!! Organization is a must for my sanity 🤪
Those organizer drawers looks so great!
They work great & were fun to label! 😃
I like the drawer subject organizer! May need to steal that one!!
It's so helpful for the younger grades that seem to have lots of items per subject!
Thank you thank you for all these MUST HAVES!
Thank YOU for hosting this collab!!
Yes! Bookshelf!!! 📚📖📚📖📓
We keep adding more 😅
I just purchased book(type) ends last year. Wish I would have purchased them sooner because like you said, it does make the bookshelf look neater.
Right!? How did we not think of this sooner? 😅
I get those from Aldi too! Got my secret stash in the laundry room🍫❤️🤣
Haha no way!!! That's amazing!!!! 😄❤️❤️
I don’t have a laminator yet…but it’s for sure a must want! 😂
Hehehe! Right?!!
It is very good video on my 10 favorite homeschool things.
Thank you!
I have a similar printer from Brother... it's my fav printer!
Awesome!! It's been our favorite so far too!
Book ends are awesome! I love that idea. "A Must Want" :) :) HAHAHAHA! PS...II am currently eating a dark chocolate sea salt caramel - so yummy! :)

Thanks for this video. Not chocolate for me but you give me a glass of iced/hot coffee and I'm good to go!!!!! ☕
No chocolate?! I'm shocked! 😜 Mmm I do love some iced coffee (especially if it's a mocha 😜)!
@@TheJohnsonCrew I know. I know. Please forgive me! A bag of salty chips!??? I'm good. 😉
@@homeschoolingthroughhighschool 😅😅I'll allow it... 😜

So organized! Love it! Also….I think I’m way in the minority but I actually hate laminating things 🙈 we have a laminator but I avoid it if I can 😂
😄 it's my only means to survival 🤪 not a fan of laminating?!! What?! 😜
@@TheJohnsonCrew lol idk 🤷🏻♀️ maybe because mine is a little wonky and all the papers come out crunched in the corner
@@thepracticalhomeschooler Oh I wouldn't like that either! I haven't had any issues with mine, thankfully, otherwise, I'd likely feel the same!
