I know. I honestly thought they were gonna straight up put JK number one lmao. I think JK is super versatile but I can't believe he is ranked higher than everyone that came before him in the high note bracket. Jk is so so good at being stable and reliable and versatile and being an ace but vs everyone that came before him when it comes to high notes he is not above them. Also, high notes are so so overrated. They don't mean you are a better singer. Talk about range (from lowest to highest note) and we got a better point but even that doesn't make you a good singer. You can have 2 octaves in use them amazingly and still be better than someone with 4 octaves that isn't comfortable in their voice.

I feel like a lot of people knew how great Exo vocal line is but don't know how actual powerful Suju vocal line is. Suju vocal line is like having 2 chen but both more powerful and 1 d.o in their prime.

Why is hitting high notes even a criteria? I mean it's obvious that if you're a tenor it's easier for you to sing higher notes compared to baritone or a bass.
All of those are quite stylistic, so their technique doesnt nominate them for best vocalist. But: this list is really false anyways, so they would definitely be on par with DK and above jungkook, jimin
I agree DK being above Seungkwan tho. He got more controlled voice, may it be low and high range. Try listening to 17 (a collab with Pink Sweats). But I agree that Baekhyun should have been in the higher rank, D.O. is not even here (and no offense, Jungkook should not even be here, there are other 3rd gen male artists who have better vocals than him).
@@jolee272 Seungkwan has the widest range among all SEVENTEEN members and has a much better technique. Try watching Seungkwan singing "Tears' during their concert. He was carrying a 186cm tall and a huge Mingyu on his back but still managed to pull it off. Having preferred voice is not same as having better vocals. Some might choose DK higher than Seungkwan because he's got a rare voice but that's not the basis here.

But Seungkwan has better control because he sings the higher notes leading him to strain his voice at times. Don't forget the four high notes in one octave that Seungkwan did as the highlight for "Pretty U". He's the one who got that part because he's got better control. Therefore, Seungkwan should be higher than DK. Please don't confuse people just because you prefer the other. Thanks.

I'm not an expert but I'm studying for vocal couch since a year and from my point of view Doyoung and Taeil should be over Jimin and Jungkook, not for not being fan or not, because just for Taeil's and Doyoung's vocal ranges would be over then An besides theres a difference between hitting high notes and support them, its a shame to say that neither Jimin or Jungkook candy hit a F4 without strain or push their mixed voice, Taeil can support G#4 and Doyoung can support A4 And just for the record non of Jungkook or Jimin knows how to use their head voice to create a real mix voice, they only uses falsetto and their control over it it's not very good either Kihyun has a very good control of his falsetto, so, I'm on the side that thinks that BTS members are well talented but her vocals are really average
