Josh's guitar solos and overall improvisation skills have improved a lot. on this tour he did a lot more high notes instead of long-drawn-out bass notes. actually did a good combination of both. it made the whole band sound better
Love these guys, but have to ask, does Anthony still use a vocal coach? He sounds really uncomfortable in every video I've seen over the last year or so. I don't mean this as a slander, it just sounds like he needs to rest up or strengthen his voice a bit...
never sounded good as a vocalist yo, more of a rapper ish kinda guy... but that's not what people know him for, he's easily one of the best lyricists in rock history
For fuck sake!!!!! Anthony is singing fine!!!!! He has never been so comfortable singing live as he is now....People just use some of his history of occasional difficult singing to comment in the present on how his vocals may not be in pitch, rusty or as you say it uncomfortable. His singing is fine, like any human voice it has occasionally more difficult days than others, but his vocal is fine on Dani. He has one of the best vocal tones in the history of rock and roll, a lot better than most people think, in a technical and critical thinking approach.
Everyone was drunk and most of them weren’t there for the band but for the drinks.. i was singing my lungs out lol. I was also very close to the front row!
May god forgive me for still holding grudge against his style and level of playing - But to this day I cannot stand josh era rhcp. John carried them too goddamn hard and now I cant bear to listen this jibbrish-funky-psychodelic bs. I keep remembering the melody and accuracy of playing that john used to preform with. His control over his instrument and sound + the flow and smoothness of his playing is simply un parallel. The man brought me into guitar and i litterly CANT STOP crying about him being out of the band. I get he grew tired playing pentatonic and not develop his sense of music according to his mojo or w/e but goddamn everyday its still hurts. He was the heavy hitter of this top tier band and influenced many others around the world and according to his words its about making something people wanna listen to. WELL WE WANT JOHN RHCP FFS. STOP WASTING YOUR LIFE ABOUT SOLO ELCRO STUFF AND DO WHAT YOU DID BEST ACCORDING TO YOUR SELF PROCLAIMED PERSONA. peace.
