Notice: eSIM = embedded sim, not electronic Sim as you mentioned in your video. Also to convert physical SIM to eSIM and to transfer eSIM to another phone depends on operator procedure, your way of doing that in the video is allowed by AT&T but maybe not allowed with other operators in the US or around the world.
@@slvomlf Yes bought straight though samsung s24 plus in the nice exclusive sanstone orange color unlocked when I Tranfer to my a35 witch is unlocked it says I need to contact my service provider.
Man, thank you for showing us this. I'm always switching between my Ultra and base model but physically switching the sim card is a hassle. I just tried this out and it worked with no problems.
I already knew how to change phones without going too my providers store. I'd always take my sim card out &put it into the other phone i was transferring to. What i didn't know is that you could change your sim to an esim like you showed here in the video. Thanks for the info! I'll surely be using it in the not to distant future👍
Thank you for the great tips! I have an esim and was nervous about getting cellular account info to apply to a new phone. I thought it was going to involve Customer Service (Oh No!). Thank you for all of the valuable information you provide!
Thank you very much I appreciate it there'll be very handy one day when I buy a phone with e SIM how about what about isim when that's going to be thanks again keep it up sir👍👌
It depends on your primary carrier and where you bought your device. For example, here's what I found on a device sold for the North American market. U (ALL CARRIERS) You can only transfer eSIMs from the same carrier as your primary carrier, even if you request a carrier unlock later. U1 (AT&T & VERIZON) Your phone can only accept SIM cards from carriers within the United States and Puerto Rico, regardless if it is a new eSIM or a transfer. It won't work with foreign eSIMs. The ability to manually activate with an activation code entry will not work. (You may have difficulties activating travel eSIMs if you use one of these carriers.) U1 (ANY OTHER CARRIER) You can transfer eSIMs from the following carriers: • USA: T-Mobile • Germany: Telekom Deutschland • Sweden: Telia, Halebop • Switzerland: Sunrise • UK: Spusu • France: SFR • Austria: Spusu • Kuwait: STC Kuwait, Zain Foreign SIMs not on this list may have limited support. Check with your carrier for more details. W (ALL CARRIERS) Same as the U1 section (AT&T & Verizon), except Canada is the country.
I am an android user and currently have galaxy tab s7 fe, should i go for ipad pro or wait for next year's galaxy tab, my main priorities are gaming and content watching and all of this experience should be smooth and no lag , please tell me one that would be perfect for me?
What if my phone's display broke? Well then we are cooked 🤯🤯🤯. That 1g nano sim hardware carries too much weight in terms of usability. Also, if someone switches regularly 😂😂.
As long as the smartphone still has a SIM slot, I don't see any advantage to an eSIM. With the SIM card, I'm much more flexible if I want to change smartphones or use the SIM card temporarily in another device.
No, there's a feature that the phone can be tracked if stolen with ESIM, but with a physical SIM, the robbery will take it out of the phone, and you can't track your phone. And another one the robbery can access all your contacts and pretend to be you and can ask for money or sell you cantacts list but on esim he can't.
The contacts and any saved data in the cloud BACKUP OR external storage/ transfer data using smart switch between devices cloud data can be restored to whatever/wherever device
This is easy when you are transfering from Android to Android. Try transfering to an iPhone and that's another story. You actually need to call your carrier.

Does it work with EE? Or do you need to go to a ee store to set up converting, your physical sim to a esim
It depends on your operator, ask EE.
It depends on your primary carrier and where you bought your device. For example, here's what I found on a device sold for the North American market.

Does the transfer work from iPhone to android?
It does. However, if you want to transfer from Android to iPhone you have to call your carrier or go to the store. Its a hassle

transfer sim from another phone not present on s23 ultra
Yes even I can't see transfer option on my s23+

Awesome if you own several phones.
This is missing from my esim settings on my samsung s24 ultra 512gb

After doing this, I got a notification that my phone contacts cannot be stored on the esim. So where and how do I move/store them?
The contacts and any saved data in the cloud BACKUP OR external storage/ transfer data using smart switch between devices
