Lovely vlog... I'm a 62 year old grandmother and have worked with special needs children for the last 32 years. My daughter is a similar age to you and we have a wonderful relationship. I think every decade you go through, you evolve and change - its all part of the ageing process. Embrace those changes and you will continue to grow into the beautiful woman you are.
I think this is why I’ve grown more apprehensive about having kids as I’ve gotten older. I don’t see my life without kids one day, but at the same time kids are much more permanent 😂 if we decide we don’t want to live here anymore we can pack up our lives and move. With kids, ya can’t send them back 😂 but that’s just something we’ll have to weigh when the time comes of us starting a family and truly feeling like we’re ready.
I love this video! There are so many things that I've changed my mind about. I've changed my mind about worrying about what others think of me. I used to get so stressed about how people perceived me and was never authentically myself. Once I let go of the thought that I had a perception I had to live up to, it was liberating.
Love this video so much!!!! It’s so interesting because I’ve gone through similar things and I turn 30 on Saturday. I’ve moved to different areas thinking I’d love the city life and have enjoyed it mostly but am now deciding I want to live more in the country near mountains and I’m realizing it’s okay to change your mind in life. Thank you for sharing this cause it’s really giving me peace 😊
I agree with you. My opinion about life has changed now in my thirties compared to my twenties. And I am glad that I took that time to learn to know myself and explore a little the world before getting married or becoming a mother, which I am not yet for both now, but open for that. Moreover, my boyfriend is a bit younger than me. It was a problem for me 15 years ago, but now I have accepted it.
Yeah I agree with you about always wanting to be everyone's friend and I was so upset when they made it clear that they didn't like me. I went down a spiral of thinking so many negative thoughts about myself and it took me a long time to figure out my self worth and realise that I am so happy with me and at peace with the friends I have in my life 😁 xx
loved this video, you seem comfortable with who you have become/are becoming and thats soothing to watch sort of hahaha, and the background, your home has come to together so well
I loved this! I definitely resonated with what you said about people pleasing during school and first year of uni, I had exactly the same feelings and in my second year of uni too I really decided to focus on myself and what I wanted to do rather than on other people ❤️
I always love your videos! I love how honest you are and I truly look up to you. I am the only one in my family who spends time and energy on these subjects and I’m a bit of a black sheep in that way. Being open to change isn’t easy for everyone 😅 Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank Yoh for this video! I definitely changed my mind about labeling as You did. It is such an interesting journey to see one's growing, evolving and changing over time!
Wow. This was an incredible video. I can relate so much to it all. The people pleasing and friendship topic really resonated with me. Thanks for your vulnerability
My therapist told me that those teenage years of clashing with your folks and wanting space from them is a normal process of gathering independence, finding your way without them and preparing to leave the nest. I guess as you get older you realise your parents are human and have personalities too 😅 and the distance helps you see that.
You should be a model your stunning❤ I married someone than me I'm 5,7 he5,5, people use to judge😮 now it dosent bother me I ware high heels embrace being tall❤
