This one looked very different in the sky right after separation. It had a very different burn and glow. I record them all and this one was VERY different. Awesome!! 386!!
I can’t believe I missed the live. I even had the alarm set, but I guess I didn’t hear it but still it’s enjoyable to watch the replay from Southern Arizona.
That was so bright! I was on 246 on my way to Lompoc and it looked like it was coming from the center of Lompoc, then after it was up in the air it disappeared for a min, then reappeared and something was spinning and lighting up. It looked like a funnel in the sky kind of, then it disappeared again. It relit before landing and I didn't hear the boom until it landed. When it landed, I was coming over the bridge by the grade.
Something more happened this time out of all of these launches I have never had a boom that knocked things off my walls and I’m in Santa Barbara over 50 miles away from the launch site
They don't do that many return to launch site landings out of Vandenberg where you'll get the sonic booms in Santa Barbara. I think this was their sixth of the year.
I heard that this rocket is a satellite launched by SpaceX, paid for by South Korea. Is that correct? I was told it's a South Korean military reconnaissance satellite?
I believe Falcon 9 Block 5 is the second most launched rocket after Soyuz-U, which was utilized from 1973 to 2017 (had 765 successful launches). Falcon 9 Block 5 has had 357 successful launches with only 1 failure, with a history running from 2018 to today (in the past 6 years). Now to the "proven category" is the revived criterion of partial reusability, with first stage booster and landing reliability, and recovering of fairings. Falcon 9 Block 5 has had 361 successful planned landings out of 366 attempts. The shuttle had 133 successful landings out of 135 missions. Nothing else is comparable really at this point.
@@andrewjenery1783 You are correct. Wanted to elaborate. I think we are in agreement. AND, the criteria of partial reusability and landing reliability elevates the standing of the Falcon 9 Block 5 in my book. Also, far fewer failures than Soyuz-U experienced over the decades (which experienced something like 20).
hey! space-x your brother "artemis" was delay to 2026-2027 where is radiation shield data sheet ? ( WHERE IS LANDER UNIT ? ) how it landing on the moon with out lander ? WHERE IS PROTOTYPE ? HOW IT LOOK LIKE ? never see even 1 prototype picture ? now 2025 not need to test ? Will it be in time or not ?
Definitely did not expect to have a boom that huge and knock things off my wall at 4am but ig it’s because it didn’t land on a drone ship this time and rather landed on land itself
Even in the dark, the land landing at Vandenberg is impressive.
Thank you for covering these kaunches!

Great Live stream guys! 43,000 plus watching at Lift Off. 75,000 plus watching the RTLS landing.
SFN has the best launch coverage.
On the boost back burn i heard the vehicle experiences like 30g which makes sense

it was the sonic boom, I was in VSFB during the launch didn't see any explosion
How do folks here talk to each other away from this forum?

Falcon 9 has to be one of the most proven space rockets over recent years.

@@michaeldunne338 I did say one of the most proven
