Hey Nick & Helmi!! So great to see you and love that you're doing South Indian cuisine, and awesome that your friend could join you as well. We love Indian food.. so much flavor packed in all the food they serve. Awesome that was the oldest Indian Restaurant around, and that this company has restaurants in a lot of other countries as well. The rice cakes and lentil donuts looked so good with all the chutneys and sambar!! We can imagine all the flavors were amazing! So cool that you got a kitchen tour as well.. and the dosa you got..looked so huge and crispy! Never seen a dosa that big before! Your lunch plate with the chili fritters looked really good, and so did that chicken. It looked really spicy! Love the veggie platter as well, and that bread pudding dessert looked so sweet and delicious! Great to see you guys try South Indian food for the first time!! Great video and lots of love to you guys!!

South India is so overrated. Wanna se the real culture tradition mannerism samskaram humility behaviour gentleness politeness n true intellect with every aspect of life then come to Eastern India.
      My experiences..
Visited travelled worked lived in 22 states n 3 UT's of India that covers every south Indian states,
In abroad I traveled to 5 countries but only in Asia.
Your comments shows how Hollow shallow n person with a limited exposures n vision ya are.
Every states of India are great n unique n full of cultural heritage.
We as east indians don't claim we are the best but we are not narrow minded like you people do.
Come n experience eastern parts of India n rest other parts as well.
My experiences with south Indian people on an average..
" The most insecure n narrow minded self obsessed n self proclaimed great n the people who live in their own bubble "..!!
Even " Sambhar " is not an invention of South India. Just for thought.
      From

The proper way to eat dosa is to try each of the accompaniments separately. For example, you take a piece of dosa and dip it only in the sambar. The next piece of dosa you dip it only in the coconut chutney. The third only in the coriander chutney, etc. etc. The Indian guide should have guided you.

Taste everything by itself then with individual dips then do whatever you want. If you are a proper food blogger then taste each element then combinations of what you like

If you like ' Sambar' very much, you should try these dishes:
    1. Sambar vada ( Medu vada soaked in sambar)
    2. Sambar idli ( Idli soaked in Sambar and topped with ghee)
You can always, ask for a cup of coconut chutney (for free) as an extra side dish.
The best way to eat dosa is to
    1. Break a piece
    2. Soak it in sambar
    3. Scoop one type of chutney per piece
    4. Put this inside your mouth 🙂
Remember to eat dosa, when it is hot.
    Try:
    1. Masala dosa ( potato side dish inside dosa)
    2. Onion podi Oothappam ( thicker form of dosa, topped with Onion and spices)

You should also try some evening snacks:
