I have both of the Rose Craft barlows and the French Broad Jack and they are absolutely amazing! They are better made and better fit and finish than knives that are much more expensive.I also ordered the Application Jack but it hasn't arrived yet.I have between 60 and 70 slip joint knives,dozens of Case,I have Boker(Solingen),Schrade(USA made,older),Buck,Rough Ryder,etc. and these Rose Craft are better made and better fit and finish than most of the slip joints I own.The only ones I own that are consistently better are GEC and Jack Wolf but they cost 3 to 4 times as much.Great job Patty,God bless!

Thirty years from now the true value of these knives will come out based on how people speak of the knives of the 1930-1970's that are no longer produced. They were not made as collectors or with exotic materials...just a working knife. I have all of RCB's traditional knives and love them all. They have taken what we like about old knives and packaged it with a slight modern twist. Of course they border on safe queen status but I know they are capable. What a value‽ Before the end of this century, someone will be in a sleeping pod on the moon and peeling an apple with one of these.
Paddy, I enjoy your enthusiasm so much. RoseCraft had me at the Clinch River Swayback. Have since purchased many more. Andy Armstrong is knocking it out of the park. Not sure if anyone has talked about it or noticed, but many of Andy’s knives are names for Tennessee Rivers. I love his pride in his home. Also Paddy if you are interested Ocoee, is Oh-co-eee. That small one reminds me of that Sniper Bladeworks abomination from 7 or 8 years ago, but in a good way. Nice looking knives. Definitely gonna have to pick one of them up. Thanks for showing them. I have a Laconico custom in K110 (D2), and its never felt inadequate for any of my uses, nor for the price i paid. People just go off what they read instead of building first hand experiences and forming their own opinion. Thats a huge issue, in the knife community.
