I got raised by a good family because they were trying to teach me how to save but i never did save money because honestly i really never had a reason to save money for. I am 20 years old and so i am adult now but honestly i started a savings journey back when i was 17 years old and early 18 years old and i met my first goal and i was so excited, pleased, happy and ever since i met that goal, i just kept saving and saving and i love doing it.

Wow 7 hundred dollars. Man when i was 14 i was barely making 3 hundred dollars a month which is pretty good for a 14 year and was not out of high school yet either.

How did your kids start with the saving challenges?
I told them about how it works and the benefits so that will be encouraged and wanna do it. Of course I let them spend a little bit I tell them don’t spend it all at once and I’m teaching them about the whole “give it 24hrs to think and rest on your mind” before you buy it. Now if only we can master the “wants Vs needs” we’d be a okay 😆
