Alex meets the famous Budweiser Clydesdales as part of World Wish Day on April 29, 2011

- Alex, a 9-year-old boy from Michigan has loved horses since the age of 2. So it came as no surprise, then, when Alex chose to meet the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales as his wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Alex's wish became a reality when he rode the Budweiser Clydesdale hitch around Busch Stadium as part of the St. Louis Cardinals' opening day ceremony. With a smile from ear to ear, Alex waved to baseball fans, family and friends -- taking in every moment of the ride. Later he told his mom: "It was the best day ever."
Excuse me while I blubber watching these magnificent horses but making a child smile like this little boy is joyous. Well done Anheuser-Bush, Make A Wish Foundation, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

The horses are fantastic & kudos for doing this for this child. The Budweiser Clydesdale commercials are great but this brought tears.
Kudos to A B for fulfilling this child's wish by providing him with the experience of riding with the majestic Clydesdales! Tears in my eyes over this one!
Kudos to Anheuser-Busch and the Make A Wish Foundation for making this boy's wish come true. The Budweiser Clydesdale hitch is, by far, the most impressive corporate icon in the country. One word describes the hitch...magnificent!
The only other one that could ever come close to matching this was Exxon's beautiful tiger..."Put a tiger in your tank!" Back in the late 60's or early 70's
I never cry. Ever.
But, when I saw that little boy waving behind those amazing horses, listening to the "Here Comes th King" music & seeing the crowd go wild, I have to admit that the roots of my eyelashes got a bit damp.
OK...sopping wet.
This is just one of the reasons St Louis and St Louis baseball is so great. Watching the hitch on tv gives me chills everytime. I cannot wait to see it in person.
Those horses absolutely give me goosebumps! All that power and majesty... Oh sooo beautiful!

I got to see the Budweiser Clydesdales twice in my life. It was been a highlight. I'm so glad that Alex got to make part of his wish come true.

So beautiful, poignant, and classy!! Seeing those magnificent Budweiser Clydesdales prancing around Busch Stadium with little Alex waving and having so much fun - all to cheering fans and the "Here Comes the King" song - gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful thing; thank you Make-A-Wish and Anheuser-Busch for making this little boy's dream come true. Loved it! :-)

I'm glad Budweiser goes to extreme lengths to take care of these horses. They have individual fans and windows in their transport vehicles!

I had to watch this twice so I could see it the second time without as many tears! This world does have wonderful people in it and this video just proved that! My hat goes off to Make A Wish Foundation and the Anheuser-Bush Co. and to his wonderful parents who also deserve a big Christmas hug. :)

My family boarded two horses for a while for some friends. Baby was the little one at about 14 hands high, Champ was over 16, I can't imagine a horse that makes them look small, but maybe one day I'll meet these amazing creatures.

Damn, now I'm crying. If I ever get to meet God I have a few questions. Moms aren't supposed to loose their babies. It's the worst feeling in the world. You talk about a broken heart, well that's the definition of loosing your little ones.
