You are so smart and clever. I always say one can do it better and cheaper at home. A big sprinkler company is charging $111 for this same thing. And, using the water throughout the pipes to add weight so the sprinkler is stable is genius. This gives me the "blueprint" I was looking for to build my own. A BIG 'Thank You' to you for this video!
Or - if you don't like your impact sprinkler or other type of sprinkler that screws into a base , a lot of them the impact (or other) heads will unscrew off of the base and a half inch diameter irrigation "riser" will fit into that threaded hole in the base and then screw your pop-up onto that riser in the ready-made base 😊
Again just go buy a two-part sprinkler, some kind of sprinkler head that screws into a base, unscrew the sprinkler head and the remaining hole and threads in the base will probably fit the standard yard irrigation stuff , like it did for me, risers and rotary and spray heads , don't have to "make" a base at all 🙂

Wonder if you can add an extension for another line or the pressure will drop?
You absolutely can add an extension... and yes the pressure would not be the same.
