@David Roberts Baritone can be officially referred to in choral settings as "Bass 1" where Avi would be classed as "Bass 2". So...no it shouldn't bother you.

You are all wrong... Avi's Bass part AND Singing part were recorded separately for Hallelujah so he could sing the lead and do bass at the same time. That way, when they do it live, they can drop Avi's bass part when he takes lead (or have Scott do it an octave higher and ditch his normal part). If you listen closely you can hear 5 voices singing in the background during Avi's verse in the video. That is because he is singing 2 parts there. Avi 1 million% better than Matt imo
I loved Kirstie's part! I think it was my favorite. She is more confident now and her voice has changed a lot. Now it is so mature and her vocal range is amazing. She has gained more attention now too. She is fantastic, i love her so much!!!
This is definitely one of my favorites of theirs. They HAVE changed over the years. Their voices have matured and strengthened. Especially Kirstie’s in my opinion. She did some time on broadway which I think helped. And Scott’s range has gotten broader. The new guy, Matt, is amazing. Avi left some big shoes to fill and Matt is doing a great job. He has a beautiful singing voice and he has an energy that gives PTX a new flavor. Mitch is always changing his look. I use him as a timeline. Lol. Kirstie does too but not as much. Scott and Kevin are pretty much same throughout the years. Just have gotten more handsome 😉😂 If you still want to go be back to their older stuff, all then they have “Gold”, a couple live performances for iHeart radio from the Honda stage, or their Evolutions (Michael Jackson or Evolution of Music I recommend). Actually, the intro was SCOTT! He has an incredible range. Matt is also a full blown master who can go from base through tenor, so he is a wonderful addition to the group.

I've been a PTX fan since they were in The Sing Off. As much as I miss Avi, I have to give Matt amazing props here. A lot of PTX fans thought the group would flounder without Avi but Matt proved himself I think. He has a different sound than Avi, but showed he has an amazing range too. They're such an phenomenal and well rounded group.

You jumped to the 3 grammys , 3 tv specials(plus numerous tv appearances) Pentatonix. Still all Great people! Think you should take a break from the emotional and just have some fun , go to Wizard of Ahhhhs or Sing or Jolene with Dolly Parton .
Their renditions stay with you. And you find you have to hear them again. There are other acapella groups that are good. But these folks have a unique way of putting their twist on covers like no one else. And their original songs are SO good. You need to check out some of the offerings from "The Lucky Ones" album if you haven't already.

I am absolutely loving your reactions to Pentatonix videos and I’m also enjoying your enthusiasm and all your emotions that you show while watching the videos. I can’t wait for more pentatonix videos. You should also watch their projects that they have done separately with Scott and Mitch making Superfriut, Kirsten with herself and Avi by himself as well. They have done these projects each while away from touring or making albums for Pentatonix and they are just as good.
Another great reaction! Nothing replicates the sound they can produce. About the tattoos - Mitch is heavily tatted. Scott now has a partial sleeve and Kirstie has several along with piercings. Their “look” has matured over the years.

Pentatonix hits a special place in my heart and I've wanted to see them on tour for a while now. I've only just started watching your channel(like a couple days) and I already love you! Yeah they have changed so much or I should say they have gotten more confident in themselves and there voices have grown so much over the years. Yeah Mitch changes his style quite often, he is very in to fashion that’s his other passion

Yeah, I heard this as soon as they released it, before the video. I thought that Matt was starting off and that he was having voice trouble..., and that Scott took over as the range went up. Then I saw the video upon release and really felt foolish.... Oh you know they're going down under again, they just haven't released the dates or locations yet, prolly still getting everything set for each leg of the tour as this will most likely be another 18 month tour like their "On my way home" tour. Speaking of, you really need to watch that documentary. Their first major tour around the world, you'll be amazed at the work they did on the road. Concerts, recording another album while on the road.... Lol. When I heard Matt one the first song they released with him as bass, I thought "Maybe I could reach in and turn the buzz down a bit and the bass up just a notch", then the second song with him started off with his bass blowing my freaking socks off mate. I realized he is extremely talented at such an early age and is a perfect fit with the other 4. He fits in just as if he was meant to..., which he is of course. Personally I'd say bounce around from newer music to older music. Anything from their new album would be awesome, "Despacito x Shape of you", if you really want to hear Kirstie turn the "Sexy" up a few hundred notches (Listened to that one day for nearly 12 hours straight).... I would love to hear Avi sing this song so I wish they had sung this when he was part of the group. The new guy is really good. What a great job they did. I have always been a fan since I saw them on the Sing-Off.
They changed a bit in the seven years since the Sing Off. You even missed Mitch's bald era and the cheezy Freddie Mercury mustache era. The new guy, Matt, is the black guy on far left. Scott is the usual lead singer and is usually singing higher. He was showing off his ability to sing almost bass in this one, and did it very well. All in all they've gotten more professional glitzy but still have that unique angel sound.
Great reaction! I would still try to catch up with all the Avi classics, but anything from their last album/tour with Matt is good too. Avi left in 2017 and they had to regroup a little. There is a cover of Dancing on my Own with just the trio and KO on the cello that worth a watch. They took Matt on a Christmas tour and in 2018 he was in! I saw them on tour last summer. Wonderful energy and they seemed to be a little more colorful than they were when I saw them in Nov of 2016. Of course, they are always changing looks......especially Mitch and Kirstie. Yep, attitude tempered by a true humbleness. I don't know who their dresser/costumer is, or if it is just them, but they are one of the best dressed groups out there. Very cutting edge (especially Mitch) but always classy. And Kirsten has gone from a cute young lady to a gorgeous woman.

I am absolutely loving your reactions to Pentatonix videos and I’m also enjoying your enthusiasm and all your emotions that you show while watching the videos. I can’t wait for more pentatonix videos. You should also watch their projects that they have done separately with Scott and Mitch making Superfriut, Kirsten with herself and Avi by himself as well. They have done these projects each while away from touring or making albums for Pentatonix and they are just as good.

Another great reaction! Nothing replicates the sound they can produce. About the tattoos - Mitch is heavily tatted. Scott now has a partial sleeve and Kirstie has several along with piercings. Their “look” has matured over the years.
I agree with you on this one. This is one of my favorites along with sing, grown up Christmas list, hallelujah, imagine and daft punk. It's very hard for me to pick. Pentatonix hits a special place in my heart and I've wanted to see them on tour for a while now. I've only just started watching your channel(like a couple days) and I already love you! Plus your accent is amazing! Can you react to Sing and Grown up Christmas list both by Pentatonix though? It would mean a lot to me if you did.

Yeah they have changed so much or I should say they have gotten more confident in themselves and there voices have grown so much over the years. Yeah Mitch changes his style quite often, he is very in to fashion that’s his other passion

Yeah, I heard this as soon as they released it, before the video. I thought that Matt was starting off and that he was having voice trouble..., and that Scott took over as the range went up. Then I saw the video upon release and really felt foolish.... Oh you know they're going down under again, they just haven't released the dates or locations yet, prolly still getting everything set for each leg of the tour as this will most likely be another 18 month tour like their "On my way home" tour. Speaking of, you really need to watch that documentary. Their first major tour around the world, you'll be amazed at the work they did on the road. Concerts, recording another album while on the road.... Lol. When I heard Matt one the first song they released with him as bass, I thought "Maybe I could reach in and turn the buzz down a bit and the bass up just a notch", then the second song with him started off with his bass blowing my freaking socks off mate. I realized he is extremely talented at such an early age and is a perfect fit with the other 4. He fits in just as if he was meant to..., which he is of course. Personally I'd say bounce around from newer music to older music. Anything from their new album would be awesome, "Despacito x Shape of you", if you really want to hear Kirstie turn the "Sexy" up a few hundred notches (Listened to that one day for nearly 12 hours straight).... Hey, don't judge... Lol. Peace, Love and Light mate.
I would love to hear Avi sing this song so I wish they had sung this when he was part of the group. The new guy is really good. What a great job they did. I have always been a fan since I saw them on the Sing-Off.

They changed a bit in the seven years since the Sing Off. You even missed Mitch's bald era and the cheezy Freddie Mercury mustache era. The new guy, Matt, is the black guy on far left. Scott is the usual lead singer and is usually singing higher. He was showing off his ability to sing almost bass in this one, and did it very well. All in all they've gotten more professional glitzy but still have that unique angel sound.
Scott Hoying and Shoshana Bean - All to Me. absolutely phenomenal. It will amaze you. I hope you get to react to it.

Great reaction! I would still try to catch up with all the Avi classics, but anything from their last album/tour with Matt is good too. Avi left in 2017 and they had to regroup a little. There is a cover of Dancing on my Own with just the trio and KO on the cello that worth a watch. They took Matt on a Christmas tour and in 2018 he was in! I saw them on tour last summer. Wonderful energy and they seemed to be a little more colorful than they were when I saw them in Nov of 2016. Of course, they are always changing looks......especially Mitch and Kirstie. "new" Pentatonix to react to: New Rules/Are you that Somebody, Havana, Evolution of Rianna, Where are you Christmas.

Yes it's a different vibe with Matt..who is great!! ...but Avi will always be a SPECIAL part of PTX..🌟Also, Avi always tweets his LOVE for PENTATONIX....☝And Avi's sister Esther is and has from the beginning been the bands tour manager...Her husband also works for PTX as stage manager I believe..So. there is still a part of Avi with PENTATONIX....👏😀

Yep, attitude tempered by a true humbleness. I don't know who their dresser/costumer is, or if it is just them, but they are one of the best dressed groups out there. Very cutting edge (especially Mitch) but always classy. And Kirsten has gone from a cute young lady to a gorgeous woman.
