Another lovely expressive, multicoloured performance. I can see Tony's point about the words (some priests over here won't allow the hymn for weddings and funerals!) but the tune is magnificent! Many thanks.
When I read "Jerusalem" I immediately thought of Parry`s tune but doubted that it was achievable on a reed organ. I was mistaken, though. And I'm glad I was. It is possible and more than that it is perfectly possible. Probably only by you, Rodney !? However, cordial thanks for this great delight.
@@user-uo7rv6yr7x I completely agree the traditional words need to be replaced. New thoughts are needed. This response is coming from Oregon, in the U S.. Yours was a very well-expressed rendition. Our since appreciation, from "across the pond."
And did those feet in ancient time Walk upon England's mountains green? And was the holy Lamb of God On England's pleasant pastures seen? And did the Countenance Divine Shine forth upon our clouded hills? And was Jerusalem builded here Among these dark Satanic mills? Bring me my bow of burning gold: Bring me my arrows of desire: Bring me my spear: O clouds unfold! Bring me my chariot of fire. I will not cease from mental fight, Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand Till we have built Jerusalem In England's green and pleasant land.
This great anthem sounds fantastic played on the reed organ.
Often sung at my school! The Berlin coped so well and produced a perfect rendition. Magnificent playing.
Fantastic! Wonderful rendition on a beautiful instrument.
That Berlin reed organ sure is very appropriate for playing grand compositions like this. #reedorgan
I've been waiting for you to do this one. One of my favorites. Lovely.
Nice performance, great music, great sound. The organ, my favorite instrument.

Fantastic, thank you :)
Wow!!! That was genuinely magnificent! Thanks for sharing this wonderful rendition of "Jerusalem" :-)
Now all we need is to hear you play it on piano :)
Just WOW!!!!!!!!
Daniel Kubacki Thanks!
Ah, Calendar Girls. Used in quite a few other films as well.
Tutorial?
nice performance - not my favourite hymn words though!
Rev Tony Newnham completely agree! Would love to put some better words to such an amazing tune!

And, please, never call our beloved reed organs "underdog" again. Not even when using inverted commas. The mere sight hurts. :-)
lol... :) How about "under-appreciated"? At least WE know that they are well loved!
