Husite byli jedni z prvnich, kteri zavedli artilerii. To pouze film ve skutecnosti pravdepodobne nasypali jezky pred pojzdnou hradbou. Houfnice dostrel asi max 1 km ale koule dokazala zabit pripadne zranit 15 - 20 utocniku.Obrnec v bazine to nemel jednoduche. Brneni vazilo minimalne 20 kg ne li vic, mec 5 kg.

Závěr Sudoměře je v podstatě menší verze bitvy u Kresčaku, kdy před bitvou vydatně pršelo a rozbahnilo celé budoucí bitevní pole.

To určitě, tipl bych si 5 kg max.

+andreabiotti1 It was really a huge movie trilogy - paid by the communists party who ruled in our country. While its possible, that some Knights of St. John attended the battle (since hussites were proclaimed to be heretics and antichrists), I doubt it. You see - those costumes in the movies were in big part not costumes, but real clothes and armors commie party stole from castles and other properties stolen from the nobility. So more probably they used everything they found including St. Johns order clothes...

+Carthoo That knights was from Hospitalier (in time, they take take name as
"Maltese knights" and they are known as knights of saint John also) order (this order own Strakonice, so they were first force to act against Husites). But even if this knights at Middle East defend
Europe, they totally failed against Husites. About 400 mens, womans and
childs stayed against hundreds of well equipted, trained, mounted
knights. And famous knights failed. And the kings knights failed too. 2000 well equipted, trained mounted knights loss the battle against 400 mans, womans and childrens...and that day legend of Jan Žižka was born. It was, many years after this battle, Husites stayed
with another Europeans (mostly Polish and Hussites fight as equal
against muslim invasion, the Czech/Polish king died when he tryed to
stop muslim invasion, and hussitess hold, theyrs last stand, for their country, Europe, and everything that they hold dear. From my opinion, if Europe do not waste time and
lives fighting each ather, that king (and hundreds of thousands) can
live, because Europe wasted its best against each other. Still even at
that horrific battle it was Husites who stayed longer that anyone else...

In the battle, there were 2-4 hundreds knights hospitaler from the nearby town of Strakonice, where they were based. Order of the Knights of Saint John is still present in our country, but they are now about helping the poor, rather than figting :)

@@Carthoo apart from knights hospitaler indeed took part in this battle where did you get that nonsense with: "...those costumes in the movies were in big part not costumes, but real clothes and armors commie party stole from castles and other properties stolen from the nobility. So more probably they used everything they found including St. Johns order clothes..."................you are very naive if you think they would took real 15th century equipment and especially as for clothing! That would be so rare exponate museum piece that not even communist would be so silly to use it as props in a film to be worn by actors(thats totally crazy idea!),not to mention that clothing from 15th century would hardly be in so good condition to allow such use in the first place. Most costumes for this movie were created directly for this trilogy of films(including armour and weapons-some of which are visibly not real weapons in some shots) and after concept artworks made for it which I saw. Moreover It was not first hussite film ever made in Bohemia.First was produced already prior communist rule when country had democratic regime and costums were even better(although that film, first made in color in czech movie history, was bad its costumes are still very good to look at).

+AliceMarieM My guess would be "Jan Žižka". There were two related films shot in the fifties handling the Hussite era - Jan Žižka (watch?v=0iToDQagmCU) and the sequel Proti všem. Naturally the historic accuracy was not the issue of the day, it was more like an imitation of Alexandr Nevsky movie, aimed to spur the negative feelings towards the west and catholic church. And a celebration of the work of A. Jirásek (author of the book)

Armor and cavalry is kind of useless against firearms. Also flails and generaly bludgeoning weapons are best kind against armor. So yeah, armor is useless in this movie since they are going against army that counters them almost perfectly. That was one of bigger reasons why hussites won so many battles since no other army was capable of such fast evolution to react to that.

    • @lkvideos7181
      @lkvideos7181 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

iglidor lmfaooooo haha. What flails and bludgeons mate. Heavily armored knights dying by light taps from wooden shafts. Btw flails were rarely used due to their inpracticality in combat. Rather pickaxes, maces and heck, even swords were more reliable.Well no, there were quite a number of such engagements in which lightly equipped peasants destroyed a knightly army. It's all about tactics and dedication in the first place. Anyway, my point is how silly armor is treated in like 99% of movies. In real life blunt trauma to be lethal it takes heck of a lot, especialy when wearing padded stuff, cloth and chainmail and on top of all that, frikkin plate armour lool.

LKVideos This movie is made by historic records,if you going to visit Czech Republic (Bohemia) you will see the Sudomer and even the small lake where it's happened.Jan Ziska was the greatest Bohemian military leader at all times. He fight to death the heavy horsemen when all European leaders trust for 200 years, that time, heavy calvary is weapon of victory.Bohemia's farmer's invented coach defend system and howitzer, than weapons made from farming tools improved by blacksmiths.Heavy horseman was usable against about the same weight enemy, not against 6xlighter and fast fighter.History repeated itself when wwll German heavy tanks get smashed by good equipped infantry or lighter and fast tanks
