The whole battle with Carnage was *very personal* for that Peter because it was the thing that *murdered* his Gwen Stacy. And that's what makes this one of the scariest versions of Carnage. Like the Venom suit, its not an alien or a living creature per say, its a science experiment gone horribly wrong; an unholy fluke of nature that shouldn't even exist. Its an avatar of endless hunger, who's only function is to kill, feed and spread until there's nothing left but *Carnage*

Needless to say... it didn't end well and Peter had every right to be pissed.

And of course was used in the MCU introduced in Captain America: Winter Solider as the primary headquarters for S.H.I.E.L.D. but this time located in Washington, D.C on Theodore Roosevelt Island. It has shown up throughout Agents of Shield, Antman, and some other appearances. So it's cool to see it in this game, did not see any skyscrapers though so that's a little thing they looked over but that's not a big deal, can assume it's still located in New York.

Fun fact about the Carnage level. During the part where you have to carry a scientist to safety you can spot a cell that contains both Deadpool and Electro inside.

There is a sequel called Edge of Time. Although it only has Peter and Miguel, the story is still good.
