We have both the Shelby F-150 Super Snake and the Shelby F-150 Off-Road on our lots at the same time! Even rarer these are some of the first few to leave the factory with serial #003 & #005! We take a close-up look at all of the details that Shelby added to the already impressive 2021 F-150 to make these two ultra-desirable truck legends in the making. That off road Shelby is beautiful
But no heads up display no launch control..no rear ventilated seats..no paddle shifters..and no automatic adjusting shocks..and more expensive..u better off getting a TRX for a cheaper price with all the amenities I just mentioned..oh it slaughters this shelby super snake both versions

Saw the same setup on the off road Shelby at lunch the other day. Same color and everything. I thought to myself one day.
I'll take either one is good for me. Love my old 02 F150 4X4 XLT Super cab 4.6 V8 Auto with 405,000 miles without touching trans or engine except tune ups and oil changes. And still runs excellent to this day.
4.6 is an incredible motor.

I love how they made a street baja offroad luxury high performance truck and a Muscle truck. But I wish the muscle truck was a Regular Cab or extended. Unless you're offroading or winter driving the muscle truck would be more fun but if money isnt an issue the offroad edtion, offroading, mudding, rock crawling, offroad racing, deep snow driving and performer stunts and driving baja trails catching air that would be great.
They also make a single cab Super Snake street version. Its a really cool truck! We had one in our showroom not to long ago.

As a Shelby GT500 owner and looking at the price tag for these trucks, I’m quite disappointed that the 5.0 motor was used rather then a 5.4 or 5.8 or another motor that has already come in other Shelby vehicles. The other thing that just really disgust’s me is those “caliper covers” 🤦🏻♂️ rather then a big brake kit on a Shelby named truck. Attention to detail was not 100% used.
The 5.0 with a Whipple slapped on is way more than enough power for these trucks. It's also a proven modern platform that the ECU of the truck already works with. A motor swap to either of the two former Shelby engines, the 5.4 or 5.8 would be a step backward and would require a ton of extra build time and development for electrical systems thus driving the price tag even higher. The brake covers are a styling cue over performance brakes because that would be about another $10k added to the price tag give or take when most people are going to just use these trucks on the street as a status symbol rather than an all-out performance machine. However, we appreciate you watching and commenting! Hope that GT500 is treating you well!

They do not come from the factory like that. But I'm sure it wouldn't be so difficult to pull of to customize a rear dual bucket seat set-up!

Very Beautiful Truck But The Street Truck I Think It Could Be Faster Like With 800hp
The street truck would for sure be faster. Lower to the ground so the air would move around it better and it would have better traction from the street tires than the all-terrains on the off-road.

These trucks are custom built from new by Shelby American. These exact modifications can not be applied to any other trucks as they are unique to the Shelby and that's what makes these unique and special builds. However, elements from these trucks can certainly be added to your 2011 F-150 and if you are near us in Richmond, VA we can add on any custom elements to your truck just as any other shop can! for off-road more tire then rim would be smarter! I don't understand why they put a low-pro wheel setup on a off-road setup I don't know about you'll but i don't like to replace rim! i like it for the street setup but rocks will crack them on the off-road setup
Agreed! But the reality is most owners of this caliber of a truck are buying it more as a status symbol than to use it to its full capability. Shelby does however make a Baja-inspired Raptor that comes with 18's and 35's that would be more suitable for off-road adventures.

My only complaint is the brakes look so small compared to trx .Does it stop more then once hard.
The stock F-150 brakes were designed and tested to get their max towing capacity to a stop. So the truck is plenty capable of handling hard braking. Regardless of adding horsepower the top speed of these trucks remains unchanged so in theory, it would take about the same amount of effort to slow this modified truck down as would an unmodified truck at speed, ignoring the additional minimal weight of the larger tires. Larger rotors and calipers are costly to add to a build, $6k + but the manufacturer knows the reality that these kinds of vehicles are more for showing off than using them for their full performance capabilities. It's an unnecessary additional cost for most customers.
@@RichmondFordLincoln There's a couple these trucks locally I'm gonna try one out.I sold a ram trx and the brakes were huge in comparison and did get hot unfortunately after few good stops sucked. I'm a vehicle guy and I just think rotors looked like the size of a Ford focus. lol.
What I really want to know who which truck is faster?
1) the Super Snake time 0 to 60 and it's top out speed
2) the off-road time 0 - 60 and its top speed
3) who will win in a 1/4 mile or a mile. 11-06-23
Well unfortunately we as a dealership cannot conduct such tests. But each F-150 is governed by the factory and for safety and DOT regulations I assume both trucks will have the same governed top speed. As for 0-60, 1/4 mile, and mile, the Street truck will always be the theoretical winner due to the more contact surface of the street tires and having less weight than the off-road truck with its additional suspension weight and tire mass.
Is this the Raptor R engine?!
No, these are equipped with the 5.0L engine mated to a Whipple supercharger. The Raptor R information has not yet been released but is rumored to be the same 5.2L supercharged engine found in the GT500 Mustang. Hopefully we know something official on the Raptor R engine soon.
No lie I want all four or these trucks these two and the Raptor R and the Ram TRX. Whichever comes first me winning my lawsuit against American government or winning the lottery. 12-02-23
The front brakes/rotors look way undersized for any type of aggressive driving. Way smaller than a Porsche brakes and three times the weight.
While the trucks are performance oriented being super charged, the majority of owners are not going to use their trucks on the track or to drive aggressively often enough to necessitate high-performance brakes. The stock F-150 brakes are designed to handle increased payload and towing weight so they are already engineered to accommodate for more extremes than every day driving with an empty bed. Adding high-performance brakes comes with additional cost that they did not feel necessary for the majority of their clientele. Hope this helps clear up the factory brakes. Thanks for watching!

I'm not sure where the confusion is here. Both tires were filmed from under the rear bumper. They are directional tires that are both facing the correct way. Toyo Proxies are even labeled with Left and Right designations on the outside of the tire with arrows at 12 and 6 o'clock showing the rolling direction.
