Love your channel! It is so well filmed, edited, and so perfectly informative. Which is why i have a travel question! Im going to England, primarily London, on my own for 2 weeks in July. Are there restaurants or experiences I should avoid being a solo person? Or are there things i really SHOULD do since I'm only 1 person. Thanks so much!!
Hi there. Thanks. Hmm. Nothing specific to avoid. There aren’t any super serious ‘do not go there’ areas in London but all the usual city tips still apply at dark when alone. As for things to do, check out my museum video and I’m doing a good market video next month. Everything else featured on this channel works the same as 1 or 2 people. Enjoy!
This video is a true gem for anyone looking to explore London beyond the typical tourist attractions! Presented from the perspective of a London local, it unveils a treasure trove of hidden gems and lesser-known hotspots that add a unique charm to the city's vibrant tapestry. From quaint neighborhoods to tucked-away cafes and secret gardens, each recommendation offers a glimpse into the authentic essence of London that often goes unnoticed by visitors. As someone who appreciates exploring destinations like a local, I found this video to be incredibly insightful and inspiring. It's evident that the creator's passion for their city shines through as they share these London secrets with viewers. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler looking to delve deeper into London's local culture, this video serves as a valuable guide for discovering the city's hidden treasures. Don't miss out on these gems during your London adventures! 🇬🇧✨
Thank you for sharing! I'm going on a trip, too! By the way I found a code on TRIP to get a discount on buying UK&Eurail tickets, which saved my budget haha!
iv lived and worked in London but didnt find my favourite place until i returned on a visit with my son , we went to the globe theatre , we stood with our elbows resting on the stage which is welcomed and became totally emmersed in a quality performance of romeo and juliet all for a fiver the best fiver iv ever spent xxx
Thanks for showing London around. I was having a headache of planning London for my trip this year. I was looking for relaxing places that are not so common or in those guide book. I go to UK every couple of years, it would be fantastic if you could do more videos of UK. Thank you 💞💞💞
I visited London last month for the BTS concert lol unfortunately my dumb friend planned our trip way too tight so we didn't get to see anything of the city which is why I just booked a second trip in December. I love this city, it'll be my third time there but this time I want to make sure to make the most out of it and this video is a gem and exactly what I was looking for! I've also seen your other London tour guide videos but I was searching for not so touristy places where you can enjoy that typical London vibe, the architecture and views. you really nailed it with this video, thank you for the great tips!
I've lived in London since I was a kid and it's easy to forget it's actually a pretty place with beautiful architecture. I visit the places you have listed as well as covent garden. Often fantastic buskers there which make the atmosphere that much better.
If u go spitalfields should pop by St John’s across the road before 11am & have their Bacon Sandwich....it looks like an ordinary bacon sandwich but really delicious imo
I couldn't click any faster. Loved the first video and I am sure I will love the second one. You have helped me a lot with planning my trip to London. I am utterly thankful. Your subscriber from Saudi Arabia!
Woahhhhh Which iPhone man? Your video is great! I am from London. Left years ago. Go back once is awhile but not seen it look so good in recent years! Your portrayal does much more than a BBC documentary to say the least (!) An iPhone did this? Come on now! I need the one you have! Thanks for taking the time to do this video.
All your videos are great. This one from London's native I particularly like. It would be fantastic if you can make a whole series of videos like this. I am a kind of tourists who is hunting in the cities for secret gems only locals know, so I am your viewer!
Hi thanks. I do have a London playlist with about 5 or so videos in about London. Also check out our secondary TH-cam channel - Carry On Monkey where I have a few more London videos.

I've seen relatively few video's about London which are very good, as opposed to good or average or poor, but this one has shown me places I haven't seen in other video's, which is lovely. Beautifully shot and narrated also. Thanks for posting.
We were assigned in school yesterday to research about different countries, and I got London/England! Found your channel because of this and I don't regret it, your videos are amazing :))
Please tell me the location of moment 12:16, the street we can see The Shard in a corner and Tower Bridge in the opposite. Thanks and I loved your video!
Thank you for this video, i'ts amazing and super useful! In a few weeks I will be visiting London so this video and your previous one, were really a must for me. Thank you again!!!
Hi can you make a video showing how do you make such amazing videos with just using an iPhone and what other equipments you use along with the phone. We would love to see that.
Love your content, Mr. Monkey! In fact, for Christmas I got my wife several of your British snack recommendations to sample. Naturally, now we MUST visit London BUT, as we look, we’re overwhelmed by the (pricey) accommodations options before us… Do you have any recommendations for which areas to stay (in May) that won’t require us to demolish our piggy banks? Does anyone else have a tip or two on this? Thank you!
Hey. Haha that’s a great gift! Which were your faves? Any let downs? Hmm. I would need to go on a hotel website to see where is cheap/expensive for a hotel as it isn’t something I look at. I have thought about doing a video on the topic so maybe one day. Sorry couldn’t be more helpful
Thanks for this great list of things to do! Next time we're visiting London we will make sure we incorporate some of them. Love the idea of the harry potter walk, and that lift sounds brilliant! :)
I’ve made a London playlist with loads more London suggestions, th-cam.com/play/PLszSmMLISbAe5iVgihDj4DF1OaZ85hLzu.html
