Thanks Brian! This one took a lot of work with the new ending. Can you believe my wife made that for me. It’s now the template for all my videos going forward. 👍
Thank you Joey! I really appreciate your kind words. This video took hours to edit and create because of the new ending. But I think it’s really gonna work out for the best. 👍
@@TwistedMacGyversTrains Very welcome my friend always good to see any layout for me if things changes and i get my own house i WILL have my layout built and going 👍
Thank you Tom! I bought it from eBay from Legacy Station. When I received it the sound never worked. So I contacted Brian and he quickly took care of it. I found the part number at the Lionel website and he ordered it and shipped it right to me. I replaced the board and it worked immediately. So that beginning part was for him, so that he could see that it’s up and running. What did you think of the ending of the video? My wife made that for me, I love it! 😊
@@TwistedMacGyversTrains The ending I think is incredible. The clarity of the video is amazing. Seeing the smoke coming out of the smokestack looks like this is in 3D, especially when the camera pans in closer and closer. It’s a remarkable shot!! Kudos to your wife!!
Beautiful video and the music is perfect. Some of your low camera angles make me think of how people in the 20s may have pictured the future. Like an urban setting in a sci-fi movie with an art deco flair. Very cool
Hi Ed, I just can stop running the set. I’ve waited 48 years just to get the set. I’m really enjoying the bridge. I’m thinking about adding a bride rectifier inside the Amtrak engine to improve the lower end speed. I also going to wire the motors in series. That should really help! Thanks for watching Ed! 👍
Hi Frank, I 'm glad you were able to get the new sound board for your PRR Consolidations. Sounds great! You have got a lot of train running action on your railroad. Really enjoyed your video with all of the different perspectives. Very nice! Frank, if you don't mind me asking, what are the dimensions of your train board? Bill B.
Thank you Bill! My layout is very small at 8’x6’, that’s why I had to go up in order to expand. Congratulations on hitting 2k subscribers! I’m almost there, slowly but surely it’s climbing. I finally learned how to do the ending screen. My wife made that for me, I really like how it turned out. I know most people don’t watch the end of the video they usually click off before they get there. 😉
Question again about that red bridge- How does the main bridge connect to the additional 2 girder railking bridges? Is there a connector supplied with the main bridge or girder bridges? Thank-you.
So that part is supposed to be secured to the peers. As you see I didn’t use the peers. Instead what I did was I went to Home Depot and bought 2 inch aluminum stock. I traced one of the brackets attached to the bottom of the bridge to the 2 inch aluminum stock. After tracing it I use the Dremel tool to cut out the two pieces of aluminum that I need it to connect the girder bridges. I also use two heavy duty zip ties that I painted to match the bridge to zip tie the girder bridge to the bridge for extra support. Same thing with the peace connecting the bottom of the girder bridge to the bridge, paint it to match the bridge. Then find screws that match the screws used on the bridge to attach the newly created brackets. Mine were silver so I painted the heads black. Everything was purchased from Home Depot. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I can help you in any other way. Frank
@@TwistedMacGyversTrains Thanks for the great response. I think I may do that myself as well. The bridge looks great. I don't want to use the peers either.
@@TheSalsy1 just remember you have to use that circuit board inside the one pillar to light your bridge. Just extend your wires to the length that you need. That’s what I did. I’m even thinking about making the next bridge 70 inches long. Providing the bridge can withstand that length. I’ll have to do some testing on it. If you want some photos send me an email and I’ll reply back with the photos that I took. This may really help you out.👍
Thank you so much! This is made by MTH RailKing. These are available on eBay but the extensions or the side pieces are sold separately if you want the 50” span.👍

You and me both! Thats my favorite part, turn off the lights and let them run. Now if I can get the houses back on and wired. Thanks John! 💯😊

@@TwistedMacGyversTrains Adding sound to that might be a very cool idea. Hissing steam or dynamo sound maybe?

So much action! The shots from the main level looking up to the Texas Special slowly crossing that 50” bridge is my favorite…but not by much :)
Thank you Wes! I’m still learning where to get the best angles But I’m getting there. The bridge is definitely my favorite. 👍
Nice running session

What an awesome layout! I'm jealous! Great running session. Is that a UP Veranda I saw on the shelf?😅
Thanks Matt! Yes it is, brand new! It’s still needs some work to make it operational. I have the parts, just have to do the work.
I like the lion chief. I can run multi trains on the same track, real simple.
I have to get an orange remote so that I can do that. The cab 3 does not allow you to pair them together to run on the same track. Thanks Gus!👍
Great running session!
Thank you so much! This was a lot of work but I love how it turned out. 👍
