Cool weave, although it doesn't work well on straps that are too thin and soft.
Have you tried gutting the 550 Paracord and used the nylon sheath for this wrap technique?
(It may help to cut down on the bulk without the inner strands when working with a more narrow or more flimsy strap.)
You could also experiment with smaller gauge Paracord (such as 425, 325, or 275) to see what works better for you and the strap you want to wrap.

The ironic thing is that I lost my voice 2 weeks ago from laryngitis and it still hasn't completely come back yet and I was considering trying to us AI to clone my voice. 😬
