@Copper Top Outdoors, thank you for watching and commenting! This hike has made my list of favorites for sure. It's awesome. Hope you get a chance to do it!
It LOOKS like it in video and pictures. But i have doubts about how much water it gets when it's warm enough to swim. And its a tough hike coming back out of the canyon. Would be that much tougher during warm weather.
Such a great area, we shuttled a vehicle down 123 and did a thru hike to save the climb out .it’s hard to imagine kayakers running that Good video thanks
@@AROwnBackyard once every few years a group runs it. It requires so much water and drops out so quickly, it's a hard one to catch. Looks like its going to need a substantial rain to dislodge all the wood in the drops tho
Yeah that big log is gonna be there a while. I don't have the whitewater skills (yet) to kayak that. But it would be fun to watch. Gotta be hard to catch it just right though.
@tracymoore6821 I do too! But I think the water is really low here in the summer months...if there's any water at all. Maybe it's swimmable in May if there's been enough rain. But I'll bet there's not enough water here to swim once Summer is in full swing. Plus, by the time you make the tough hike out of that canyon during hot weather, you'll be ready for another swim.
Thank you sir! I appreciate that. I really liked this hike a lot. Pleased with how the vid turned out. Couldn't have caught that water any better (color-wise). Sorry brother, I don't think there's any smallies in that creek though. haha.
If you like waterfalls and up for a challenge Indian Creek Trail out of Kyle's Landing is an awesome hike. I'd go after a rain or springtime when Eye of.the needle is flowing good. Definitely worth it.
@@AROwnBackyard it's a little challenging and at one point you climb up a cliff with a rope to reach the end but as long as you're paying attention shld be fine.
I originally posted that it's not that hard. I'm sorry, I was thinking of Big Creek Cave hike. This one is tough. Coming back out of the canyon is physically tough. Also, I don't know if I would go this time of year. It might be pretty grown up right now.
@Yahwehs Child I've only been here once, and that was in late Winter/early Spring, so I can't answer that for sure. But I think by the time it's warm enough to swim, these pools are going to be pretty low. Maybe in May if there's been enough rain. But I'll bet there's not enough water here to swim once Summer is in full swing.
Thank you for such great directions and visuals. This hike has been on my list for a while!

Looks like a great swimming hole. Wish I lived closer.

Great idea with the shuttle! Yeah, that's some pretty hardcore kayaking there. I don't imagine it happens often. Thanks for the comment!

I want to swim in those falls.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it!
Nice
Thanks!

Thanks. Yep, that one is on my list. Just waiting on the right hiking partners to be able to go at the right time.

Do people swim this in the summer?
