"First of all, if anyone needs advice to move into a foreign country, especially Germany, try to avoid advice from IT/software people. Most of these people came to this country accidentally, mostly on onsite opportunities, tried to accommodate themselves later, and finally got into trouble. These people don't come with any proper plans, like those who come for study or job-seeking visas. I am very happy living in Germany and enjoy living with German people. Hi, for a single person depending on their lifestyle it may vary. For groceries and food probably around 200 Euros and for rent around 500 Euros a month. Rent depends on the size of the apartment. Rest depends on your spending habits.
