As a sharks fan, I would be stoked if Eiserman fell to 14. I know we need D (especially RHD) and Eiserman is a risky pick but after his combine interviews that he's really focusing on rounding out his off-puck play and the fact that him and Celebrini are best friends, I think it would be so cool to see them together on a team. But if we get Jiricek, I'll still be pretty stoked.
Eiserman just isn't a playoff type of player. Soft small sniping perimeter scorer. We need size and a different element alongside Smith and Celebrini. I'd take Sennecke or MBN in a heartbeat over him.
@@KidCudi72 Both of those are great players for sure. I just like the idea of taking a big swing on a controversial player. I think being on the same team as Celebrini would bring out the best in him and that pairing has the potential to be a Toews/Kane or Crosby/Malkin type combination. But if we got Sennecke or MBN (I think Sennecke will be gone by 14 personally) I'd still be happy. Also FWIW MBN is only 1" taller than Eiserman and Sennecke 2", not really the biggest of differences. It would be more of an issue if he were like a Caufield or Debrincat at 5'7 but Eiserman is pretty average sized already.
Nah Jiříček is a future bust... I saw his player card compared to Tomáš Galvas who's not even projected as a 1st rounder that has much better numbers than Jiříček. I would totally try to trade up for Buium if he starts sliding. And if Grier stays conservative and keep the 14th I think Yakemchuk/Nygard are great options. Nygard is probably the most NHL ready player in this draft imo.
This would be an awesome draft for the Flyers. I could see us taking a Dman but we need as much talent across the board as we can get and I think Catton and Deano would definitely do that for us

Plus, he has the size that Bill Armstrong likes. For Demidov, I think CBJ actually makes a lot of sense. They have a ton of young Russians already so I think he'd have an easier time adjusting to North America.

Your probably right and I will question why Im a Sens fan again but why would the Staios and Co draft Yakemchuk at 7 when with their 25 pick they can get a RHD that can develop into a shutdown dman in Elick, Kleber, Brunicke, etc.. I get why it could happen but leaving Buium, Dickinson, Catton on the board and taking Yakemchuk would be stupid and I really hope Staios and Co aren't that dumb.
