Great stuff alex! I think niche site owners really need this right now. If we're to have any chance of making sites work going forward, we need to spruce up our pages significantly so we've got differently styled divs and sections on pages. Not just walls of text. This plugin should allow us to do that, so thanks a bunch alex!
I wish I could find a reason to add this plugin, but I believe everything it offers can be achieved with Gutenberg alone. In my experience, many plugins aim to simplify Gutenberg, but they also introduce potential security vulnerabilities to WordPress that I need to worry about. As an SEO consultant, I often work with clients who have professionally-built WordPress websites loaded with plugins that haven’t been updated since the site was created, often 2-5 years ago. This presents a significant challenge because I not only have to advise them on the potential dangers but also handle their maintenance, which I often end up doing free of charge. The extra work and security concerns make me hesitant to add more plugins unless absolutely necessary.
I dabbled with Spectra for a project last year, and it seemed good. It was not quite there for what I was working on, but it definitely had a lot of potential. I'll let it mature a bit more, then give it another look.
Great tool Alex. But since I'm already using the Kadence theme, this would be overkill, since Kadence has all of these features built in already. But looking forward to see more of this.
When sge is released Wordpress, hosting and domain company’s are going to go the way of the dodo! Maybe do a video on how sge will impact the whole web ecosystem from top to bottom, web designers, developers, hosting companies, domain registrars, graphic designers, content writers all cut out as no one needs to view the source!
