Actually, not much impact when I use on my VPS. I wouldn’t use it on a shares hosting plan with limited resources. That’s because the time to send bulk email depends on your server size.
I'm completely new to this & not sure what the difference is between a Sequence & an Automation. Is the sequence the writing up a group of related emails in order of how how want them to go out (I know you said you can set the frequency too) & the an automation funnel is when you want to add other things as well as emails, like add to contact list & other conditions? Are there time when you would an email sequence to an automation if you want to add other conditions? Or are they completely separate? Thanks
Hi, Lulu. As you guessed, a sequence is just a list of different emails that go out to a subscriber with a specified time gap from one to the next. An automation is similar to a flowchart. It waits for something to trigger it, like buying a product, subscribing to a list, getting a tag assigned to the subscriber, etc. Then it takes some actions, like adding another tag to the user's profile. You can also send email from within an automation, wait for a period of time, or do other things. You can include a sequence in an automation. That's perfect for when you need to wait for an event or trigger before sending the sequence and possibly taking other actions, like adding tags or lists.
@@SuburbiaPress Appreciate you getting back to me. Thank you! That clears it up more : ) I find the sequence tricky to understand, but maybe because I don't have a real example of how it applies to me. That will probably come with time, trial & error! But the difference is clear now.
Hi, Mike. Can you explain a bit more about not tracking the emails? I can think of a couple of different types of tracking and I want to make sure that I answer the version you have in mind.
@@SuburbiaPress Hey yes, I've always unselected the box (Aweber and Sendy) that says 'track opens'. I don't want to have any tracking mechanism in the emails I send out. Is this possible in Fluent?
Hi, Mike It looks like this gets handled in FluentSMTP with the logs. That's what lets you know if an email was successful or failed - tracking the results. If you go into Settings, you can disable the logs. Also, you can go into FluentCRM settings for Compliance to anonymize IP addresses, if you're concerned about that info being tracked. Hope this helps.
@@SuburbiaPress Thanks but I'm asking to remove any tracking code (or pixel) from all emails sent. It makes delivery rate much better, that's why I'm asking. Does anyone understand my query here?
Hi, Mario. This was one of several videos I created about FluentCRM. I hope some of the others may answer your questions in more detail. This was more of an overview.
Hi, thank you for your always very interesting videos. 👍 I have a question about the email sequence in Fluent CRM. If I want my emails to go out only on Tuesday and Thursday, I think it is not necessary to determine a time limit for the days? Shouldn't I check this option? Am I wrong? Thank you very much for your response... 😊
I played around with FluentCRM for half a day. Couldn't for the life of me find a way to edit a previously made Campaign. Is this not possible? I also was looking into sending a monthly email, is that something I can do in automations?
Hi, William. You can edit a Campaign before you send it, but not after you send it. It's sort of the same for me on TH-cam. I'd sometimes like to replace a video that I already uploaded, but I can't. Once it gets sent, it's that way forever. Email Sequences are different. You can always edit those, and I'm actually editing som of mine now. If you want, you could use a Sequence for your monthly email. The tricky part is spacing them out given the difference in days of the month. Keep in mind that you specify the emails to send in a sequence based upon the first time sent. So you don't just put "30" in each email in a sequence. They have to build up, like 30 for this one, 60 for the next, 90 for the third and so on. If everyone gets the same email, but the time varies depending upon when they subscribe, a sequence may be the right way to go. However, you need to use a Campaign for something current. If that sounds confusing, let me know and I'll try to clear up what you need.
FluentCRM integrates with Zapier using a webhook. There are other middleware systems, like Integrately and Pabbly that may work better. I see Calendly and FluentCRM are both on Integrately and that's a much less expensive service. Most of the webhooks so far for FluentCRM were inbound, but the latest release includes outbound webhooks from within an Automation.
@@SuburbiaPress Thank you, I look into those. Im a little anxious to change in case I bump into a problem that no one has not yet encountered and customer service not being able to respond in time 😬. Clearly im not an early adapter
@@fitandflo FluentCRM customer service seems helpful to me, but I haven't had many issues requesting help. They're quite active on their Facebook page. Also, the latest release introduced a REST API, which makes it easier for other service providers to create an integration with FluentCRM.

Thanks. Good setup and functionality overview. Appreciate the tips and understandable explanations and how you use a feature / option.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The licence is GPL too?
Hello, congratulations for your good job. I'm a Brasilian Developer and I'm using the Fluent CRM. Big huge
Thank you. I'm glad you like it. I'm also using FluentCRM and it does just what I need.
I have a question does Fluent CRM have an impact on your Web Host? Or is it just as much of an impact as other plugins?

An excellent and comprehensive overview, thanks!... Looking forward to watching more :0)
